im thinking about getting a dog i already have one breed on my mind an english setter i was at the adoption center today to meet one and i lover her her name is daisy shes 2 years old shes soo sweet and playfull she was rescued from someone that that kept her outside since she was a puppy i nall kinds of weather hot cold freezing etc…. I am looking to adopt a baby Yorkie pup but I am having a hard time finding ppl who breed them or rescue them here locally maybe i just suck at Google but if you can help me it would be greatly appreciated ty for you time and I am also not looking to spend a ton of money $300 to $350 is my limit… I have to have some kind of money left to spoil it with lol.. - should i buy a yorkshire terrier or adopt one?
I thought adopting was when u get it from a shelter and they hav something wrong with them since they were evidently rescued and I didn't want a yorkie with a broken leg or something that has problems but then I was also thinking of just buying it but they r EXPENSIVE and plus idk if they hav got checked or anything…so can someone tell what conditions a adopted dog will hav and which is better

- house training advice?
got my pup, a mini yorkshire terrier from a rescue centre a week ago,
hes exactly 8 weeks today
he sometimes uses his puppy pads and knows to go there when he needs a wee but sometimes he jsut goes anywhere
i know hes only young but the dogs my dads had in the past, usually really big dogs didnt take long to toilet train and hes getting really inpatient about him not being house trained yet
how long would expect it to take for him to learn? (…)
