am on a visit to toronto for a summer vacation and would love to have a puppie for company.Does anyone know where can i get a free puppy for adoption in toronto?
I know some people offer them free for adoption, any sites or links
many thanx
I got a free yorkie-poo a few years back. A friend had a litter and was giving them away.
My free yorkie-poo just cost me $1800 in knee surgery for patella luxation for 1 knee and will need the other knee done in 2 months.
Free puppies are not really free you know.

Check these ads from nortad classifieds. I think the second ad is offering the pup for free and it is in toronto.Nice if you can get that:

Puppies, dogs etc are not free sorry. You may not have to actually pay for one but the expense is there to care for them; food, shelter, vaccinations, health check ups etc….
You may want to reconsider, think about it your on vacation ~ go have fun, go site seeing whatever, because getting a puppy takes time to train, and time period.
If you really want a puppy; I personally think adoption is the best ~ giving an unwanted pet a new home, new chance at life/love there is nothing like it. You can also check rescue site ~ a great one for Yorkies:

The best place to start is to look for a breed club rescue organization in your area. you can contact Canadian Kennel club and they can give you referral of such organization, if not ask for breeder's list. These breeder should be able to give you a referral then.

I am so sorry to break it to you, but no dogs are free!
Especially that type of breed you want and you also want him/her as a puppy. No way believe me are you going to fine a Yorkshire Terrier puppy for free. Plus dogs are not cheap to own, if you cannot afford to buy one there is noooo way in heck will you be able to care for one.
I do applaud you tho for your choice in rescue – GREAT choice, dogs in shelters have there deadline and if not adopted before that deadline they will be put to death. So its great to adopt as you will be saving a life.
I suggest tho until you are financially ready for a dog – wait. Wants your ready, go through a Yorkie rescue. Your best bet would be at one.
Good luck! I could not live without my 3 furkids!

i love dogs, and sympathize with your desire for a puppy.
But, honestly, getting a puppy, who may be untrained, while you are on vacation may not be the best time to train the puppy.
i am concerned that you may be moving in with different friends, that life won't be stable enough for a puppy. Adoption is somewhat traumatic for the dog, and you need to be able to reassure them through that.

And I would like a free Mercedes Benz! Dream on! Breeders have costs to cover. They can't exactly go around handing out free pups to anyone that comes along and wants on. Search for an ethical breeder and save your money in the meantime.
