puppies in Africa free to good home ?
i just answered an ad in my local newspaper. It read Teacup Yorkie for adoption to a good home. Please respond via e-mail. I responded to this ad and he replies he is in Africa and has 2 yorkies that can not tourate the Afric climant and wants to give them to a good home and we would slpit shipping. Has anyone heard of this as being a scam?
Yes, it's a scam! Been operating for a good long while now. There's plenty of dogs needing homes in shelters all across the country if you want a dog - save your money, this is a scam.

Sounds like the scam where you send the check to pay for the puppy or the shipping and no puppy ever materializes.

not just the word teacup but when you hear anything about "just pay shipping" its a scam you wouldn't believe the number of people who have fallen for it. just stay away from it.

"Teacup" isn't even a real type of dog. Even if it were it would be sickly and under-bred.

Scam. Any teacup "breeder" is a scam artist. Having to send money long distances and get a dog from long distances spells t-r-o-u-b-l-e.

Aside from the fact that ANY "teacup" Yorkie is a scam, due to inevitable health problems and short life span, YES this is a scam. A well known one as well.

omg yes it's definately a scam! believe it or not, I was watching the news like last week and it was taking about this and the scammeds were from Africa. don't do it…. good luck and even if it wasn't a scam any teacup dog isn't worth buying anyway

Oh yeah its a scam. A friend of mine fell for the same thing. She paid 250 for shipping and on the day the dog was supposed to be shipped they called and said they are having trouble getting her through baggage claim and they need an additional 300. She requested her money back and they never sent it and still to this day cannot get a hold of them.
