Puppy help…..why is this puppy free ?
Ok so in an add I came along while I was looking for yorkies the owner states quote on quote
"My yorkie puppy is up for adoption, a female. i am putting this yorkie for free because she is Akc certified have been dewarmed and vet checked she weigh 4 lbs eleven weeks so she have had her antirabbies shot. she is arorbale playful, used to kids and other puppies "
Now im curious what exactly do they mean by this and why is this puppy free ?
Its actually a meet up and view the puppy type thing like they say they live in my town and I would go pick up the puppy like if you were going to a breeder
It's most likely a scam. If you contact them, they will probably tell you that you need to send them $300 to ship the dog who is overseas. You send them the money, and guess what? No dog.
**Right. They will ask for money to ship the dog first. Why would anyone give away a perfect, adorable AKC registered yorkie for free? Contact them and see what they say.

I responded to a similar ad for a bulldog. I told them I could put them in touch with a rescue. They wanted me to send them money to ship the dog.

Because it's a scam. Sooner or later they will ask for money to ship, or some other lame excuse. You can kiss this money good bye. This is a well known scam.

they pull you in with the free part then you have to pay for the flight of the dog which will be in some country anywhere where you are not , you pay for said flight/transportation & its good bye money & goodbye fake puppy. They are all scams, apart from the pathetic wording the fact its obvious wrote from someone who can not speak or write english x
ps… a pick up type is not an option , try replying & seeing about picking up & see what responses you get., it wont happen ..to good to be true !

could be a scam… might not be, I got my dog from the paper for free, nothing wrong with him, his owners just couldn't take him to where they were moving. Call/email them and see what comes of it, but once they ask for money, dont bother

Well you can call and go look.Offer no money.Ask for vet records.One thing at 11 weeks puppies don't usually have their rabies shot yet.The earliest is 12 weeks.I will recheck to be sure I'm correct on this statement.Also I'd be careful of giving your address could be a way to find out where you live.
