Rash on dogs testicles.
We took our 1 yr. old Yorkshire Terrier to give him a haircut to the groomers in Pet smart, then today we noticed his testicles have something that looks like a rash, what should we do and buy to prevent it from getting worst.??
It sounds like he was either bathed in something that he is allergic to or even clipped too close. I would call Pet Smart and find out what they used on him and who did his haircut. It may be something that they could be held liable for if you have to take him to the vet.
As for the rash, if it seems to bother him I would use some kind of triple antibiotic (Neosporin) to help it heal. If he seems to be bothered by itchiness, use some kind of hydro cortisone cream on him. Keep a close eye on it just in case it doesn't go away. He may need medical attention. Good Luck!

Experience with a very allergy-sensitive 120-pound dog!! He's always got some kind of rash on him!!
1. Get a better groomer!
2. Have him neutered!
3. It's an allergy. Ask your vet if you can give him 1/4 of an under the tongue antihistamine. And don't take him back to that groomer. His testicles should never be shaved!
