Are These Dogs Okay for People Who Are Allergic?

my mum is allergic to dogs so we need one that dosent shed alot and are ok for people with allergies to fur.
here are the ones i am thinking about
(they are all mixes)

Cairmel (Cairn Terrier / Maltese)

Copica (Cockapoo / Corgi)

Malton (Cavachon / Maltese)

Muggin (Pug / Miniature Pinscher)

Scoodle (Poodle / Scottish Terrier)

Yorkie Russell(Yorkshire Terrier / Jack Russell)
why would i be lookin for a dog if my mum didnt want one stupid
okay those who said the cairmal are bad with shedding are completely wrong guess why?! cus they dont shed badly 2 of my friends have them and they barely shed. so stop being all rude i just wanted to know if any of you knew what you were talking about

Terrier YES –
Cocapoo NO (the cocker sheds – poodle does not)
Maltese would be okay – but not sure on the Cavachon??
Pg/pinscher – no- will shed
Poodle/terrier – deffinate YES
Yorkei – should be fine – both are terrier breed – but not sure about the coat of Jack Russell and whether it sheds or not???

Unless you are adopting from a shelter or rescue HELL no to all of them.

Try researching REAL low shed breeds.

ADD: With mutts you will never know which coat type you will get so stick to a single breed. Secondly you will have to have your mother be around the dogs FIRST before you can be sure she can tolerate even dogs that other people with allergies can handle.

Oh and a side note: Does your mother even want a dog in the family in the first place?

ADD2: Because 99% of the people who ask about low shed dogs are kids who want a dog but have a relative with an allergy and have already been told NO on a dog already and think if they find a low shed one the answer will magically become YES.

So again if everyone is on board do research into a single breed dog and then test your mother's tolerance. Mutts are the worst dogs to look into and anyone telling you any of these are good choices is full of it.

The shelters are FILLED with mixes who were supposed to be 100% hypoallergenic(which no dogs is btw)

the scoodle would probably be good beings how the poodle doesnt shed at all.

Why not look into the hairless breeds? All of the ones that you mentioned could cause allergy problems.

All of these designer mixes include dogs that shed. Do not buy a designer mix because some scam breeder tells you they are hypoallergenic. It's a total lie. Do some research. Do not support people who breed these dogs – they are puppy mills or at the very least unscrupulous breeders.

And even purebreds like poodles, shih tzus and bichons that are low shed can still trigger allergies in some people. It depends on your mom and the dog. So make sure you can return the dog if it doesn't work. There are absolutely no guarantees with allergies.

I agree with Rayven Wolf that you need to do some more research on this before getting any dog. However, one question: How allergic is your mother to dogs? If she is very allergic, you probably would be best not getting any dog. Bummer , I know. However, living with a dog day in and day out for someone who is very allergic is not a good idea

If you are allergic to dogs the best breed to get is a dachshund. Why? The haven't any doggy odor, they (the smooth coats) do not have an undercoat that sheds.

Oh, you disbelieve the "haven't and doggy odor" part? They do not.

Sorry, people aren't allergic to dogs fur, they are allergic to dogs dandruff. And nomatter how big of a BYB people are, no one is ever going to change the fact that all dogs have dandruff.
And all the dogs that you mentioned SHED and Shed and SHED!
    Cairn Terriers shed A LOT
Maltese shed, not a lot though
    Cocker Spaniels Shed
    Poodles Shed
    Corgies SHED
I have no clue what a Cavachon is ( I am sure it is a BYBred mutt ) but, I am sure that they SHED
    Pugs SHED
    Min Pins SHED
    Scotties SHED!
    Yorkies SHED
    PRT SHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, but maybe you should get a WELL bred dog from a REPUTABLE breeder or a Shelter and have you mom take Allergy Meds.
Cause, there is NO escaping the fact that ALL dogs SHED and ALL dogs have DANDRUFF!

ADD: Oh, you would be surprised what some people ask on here without their "Mums" Permission.
And, I wouldn't be calling people on here 'stupid'. Thats a one way ticket to getting a violation.

ADD: No, I dont know a thing I am talking about.
I have just trained in Animal Care and Medicine for 3 years, researched dogs for the past 15 years, been a Pomeranian breeder, owner, handler for the past 10 years, etc……
Did it ever come into your head that your friends own poorly bred mutts?
Did it ever come into your head that your friends dogs aren't going to live as long as a Cairn Terrier or a Maltese?
Did it ever come into your head that when your friends bought those dogs ( For probably a butt load more than they are worth ) they contributed to the dogs that are DYING every day in the shelter?
Did it ever come into your head that by buying from a BYB you are basically killing a young puppy in the shelter?

    I dont think so.
If you want to get a Low Shedder be my guest.
    Poodles
    Bichons
    Maltese
are low shedders. But, the fact is, THEY STILL SHED!

If you truly want a low shed dog than research purebred dogs who have this attribute. All those mixes are being breed by BYB and puppy mills and will not breed true to any standard. Our shelter is full of these mixes because they did not live up to the expectation of "hypoallergenic".

If you are not getting these dogs from a rescues then you are contributing to the puppy mills. So please get them from a rescue you can find them all over the place. Your best bet would be the scoodle scottie is a low shed dog and the poodle does not shed at all. High maintence though need lots of brushing and bathing or they will get matted.
