I complelety agree with Steven and BeTheir Voice. I have a Yorkie and he has never even mouthed anybody, let alone a child. Good puppy training and socialisation is the key to ensure that biting doesn't happen.

their not prone, its all about how they are raised. alot of smaller breed dogs are babied and spoiled which leads to dominant, jealous, protective behavior. small breeds tend to get away w/ alot things so it leads to them training the owners.

Aren't yorkies prone to biting children? I heard this before. Most people wouldn't recommend the dog if you have kids.
