Which kind of dog is better: Yorkshire Terrier or Miniature Schnauzer??

I really can't decide. My favorite is Jack Russell Terrier so probably a Miniature Schnauzer because they are "true" terriers.

They are both cute and great cuddlebugs. Yorkie's have such fine silky hair though…are you willing to brush them every day to keep the hair from getting knotted?

Something to think about. (I have nor prejudice towards either dog—I have a poodle and they are a lot of work as well. I just wanted to remind you of the grooming problem)

i really like bigger dogs better… but i would choose the schnauzer if anything but i tend to find them rather annoying both are very good breeds i have meet alot of cool Yorkys with fun personalitys too

Yorkies are the BEST by far! They are just as much a terrier as the Miniature Schnauzer. They are just grouped in the Toy Group for AKC purposes.
