What is the life span of both? Which one is destined to live longer or they both about the same? Thanks.
LIfe span shouldn’t really be a priority: both dogs have totally different needs as far as grooming, training, etc go. They also both have different health problems to look out for…

So i would focus on finding a dog that fits your lifestyle, and not one that will live for so many more years than another. Life spans can vary based on general care, breeding, quality of dog, etc so… it’s possible for a Yorkie to outlive a Schnauzer or a Schnauzer to outlive a Yorkie.

The life span is about a year apart it depens if u luv the dog thab take a yorkishire terrier it lives about a year longer it cost more but a miniature schnauzer lives long is cheaper and if you luv it, it feels like a long time. But a Yorkshire terrier lives about a year longer.
