How Big Will a Teacup Yorkie Poo Chihuahua Puppy Grow to Be?

I found an add in the paper and was wondering how long, how tall, and how much will one weigh, if I buy it. Can any one give me an idea? I noticed the add said teacup, so this seems small. I want it to stay small. Any help appreciated.

Oh no… PLEASE don’t get it!

First – They are advertising in the PAPER!
Second – It is a mutt, Yorkie, Poodle, Chihuahua mix.
Third – Teacups are unhealthy runts with LOTS Of health problems.

You know how they get "teacup" dogs? They breed runts together, and produce tiny, unhealthy dogs. And since it is a mix of THREE breeds AND a runt, no one knows!

If you want a small dog, go to your local shelter and find a Chi, Yorkie, Pom, or any other small dog or mix. :)

    DONT BUY IT !!

it was highly likely that it was breed by stupid back yard breeders and probably come from a puppy mill ..

    DONT BUY !!!

the possibility is that he/she will be ill when they are at a growing age..
Their bones are VERY fragile and can be broken by jumping off of a couch, falling off of a bed, being stepped on or worse. also it states on a website that if you buy a teacup puppy you would have a massive vet bill !!
    sad i know :(

I would be wary of buying a dog from anyone that has a puppy listed as a "teacup" anything. There is NO SUCH THING as a teacup dog! "Teacup" is a term used by irresponsible backyard breeders to swindle people who don’t know any better out of their money. The term can be loosely translated to mean it’s a runt dog. The dog may be a runt now but may grow up to be any size really, dependent upon the size of the parents. If the "poo" part is a miniature poodle, then he will be larger than a toy size. Being an owner of a small dog, I can tell you that small dogs require more care and attention when they are puppies. They have to be fed every few hours so that their blood sugar level does not drop too much. If it does, they can go into shock and die from it. Also, runt dogs are more susceptible to health problems because of underdeveloped lungs and other things. And the dog that you have listed above (a yorkie poo chihuahua) is a mutt no matter what pretty name they attach to the puppy and cannot be registered. You shouldn’t have to dish out money for a mutt. Go to the pound and adopt a dog that needs saving.

Your going to get a sickly runty mutt if you buy this dog. They are scam artists and are trying to steal your money.

So poorly bred it likely won’t survive long enough to find out.

Somewhere down the line runts started being bred to other runts, until eventually you have a ‘teacup’ puppy. This does not mean that the puppy itself will be unhealthy. Saying that, if you are just buying it to own some designer breed, than its not very smart. If someone is just giving away that puppy I see no reason why its wrong to get it, as that is basically what you would get if you went to the pound anyways. Its impossible to know the size of the pup unless you see the pups parents and grandparents. A chihuahuas height is anywhere from 6-10 inches and 2-6 lbs. A yorkies height is anywhere from 6-7 inches and around 7 lbs. These are all general, dogs vary in sizes.

there’s no such thing as a "teacup" dog.. that is a SCAM label

Yorkies are suppossed to be 7 pds or less
Chihuahuas are suppossed to be 6 pds or less
Poodles range in sizes.. so depending on what size poodle, and what size poodles are in the genetic history, the size range could vary.

Not all yorkies or chihuahuas fit that breed standard.. its not uncommon to find one that is 10-15 pds!

Best guess I can give you on potential size (assuming a toy or mini poodle was used in the mix instead of a standard) is "Under 20 pds"

I would not pay any more than $50 for this dog, if it has had shots and worming.
