I am looking for a teacup yorkie puppy!?

I am looking for a teacup yorkie puppy but can't find any for a decent price in my area or around it. Can anyone help me! I am willing to pick up at the following locations. Akron, Canton, Mentor, Painesville, Madison, Ashtabula or anywhere close to these locations. Please contact me at darbybrat@yahoo.com. I cannot afford the prices people have now a days and I know they are expensive dogs but if anyone knows of someone please contact me or guide me in the right direction. Thanks so much!!
I don't have to have papers but it does have to be a teacup yorkie. Thanks Again
In Ohio Please. I live in Andover Ohio
ok i am looking for a yorkie puppy no older than 10 weeks old that will not be more than 5 to 6 lbs full grown.

Try your local China shops.

And do some research. Yorkshire Terrier comes in ONE size - a two pounder is the same as a six pounder, there is no named or noticed difference (like there is in Schnauzers and Poodles.)

Anyone selling a "teacup" dog is selling poorly bred runt type dogs. You will NOT find one at a "decent price" because people who breed them are doing so to scam money from people who didn't bother to research. Period.

If you want a small Yorkie, find one from a reputable breeder. Or try a rescue group or shelter.

Yorkies and small dogs in general will cost well into the $900 range because they ARE hard to safely breed/whelp. They also have smaller litters.

try going to petfinder.com, or go to your local animal shelters, yorkies are common dogs so you can probably find one at a shelter. But if you want you can look online for some rescue organizations for yorkies.

A Teacup Yorkie is not a healthy Yorkie. They are only bred by backyard breeders and puppy mills looking to make money. "Teacups" of any breed are too small for their own good and no responsible person produces them.

Please, save yourself money and heartache, and buy a purebred Yorkshire Terrier from a reputable breeder. You might have to drive and you might have to pay a little more money, but the dog will be healthy and you won't be spending thousands of dollars later in its life. Google "yorkshire terrier club america" and look for breeders who are members.

Alternately you can adopt a Yorkie from a rescue. Google "yorkie rescue ohio". This will be cheaper than buying a purebred puppy.

Oh…you're looking for a non-existant breed, or an ill-bred runt?

go to any local idiot who breeds dogs and sells badly bred dogs…or just look at petfinder.com to see all the homeless ones that people have dumped because of birth defects etc…

Good luck finding something that does not exist.

There is no such size as teacup! Yorkies have *one* size. 0-8 pounds or however big they get is just a yorkie.

Teacup is a scam made up by idiots trying to fool people like you into getting a small cute puppy when really because of its size it has many health issues and is a sick runt.

Sorry, honey, but there's no such thing as 'teacup' anything. Yorkies come in one size only: http://www.akc.org/breeds/yorkshire_terrier/

Only backyard breeders and puppy mills sell 'teacups' to the gullible public who think they are a legitimate breed. What you'd be getting is a sickly, badly-bred runt. Find a legitimate breeder here: http://www.ytca.org/breeder1a.html or rescue: http://www.petfinder.com

There is no such thing as a teacup yorkie! Yorkies are one breed, one standard, and only get to a certain weight (around 7 lbs I believe). Why would you want a substandard, unhealthy runt that will probably die young? Why don't you educate yourself on the Yorkshire Terrier breed and make an informed decision so you don't get screwed out of hundreds or thousands of dollars for a mutt/runt. You can find a good pet quality yorkie for around $500 from a reputable breeder looking for a pet home. You could also go to your local shelter and find a mix that looks similar to a yorkie…maybe even a purebred yorkie…for a lot less than going to a bad breeder that doesn't care about their dogs.

Any one breeding or advertising "teacup" yorkies is a con artist. The breed is a toy breed already (less than 7 lbs) so anything that is labeled as a "teacup" is simply a poorly bred runt. Check with the national breed club for reputable breeders in your area and while you are on their site, read what real yorkie breeders have to say about "teacups". http://www.ytca.org/

If it HAS TO BE a teacup Yorkie, then you are out of luck because there is no such thing. It's a marketing term, a scam, used by unethical breeders producing extremely small, sickly dogs.

In addition to being out of luck, you are also very clearly uneducated on the breed, otherwise you would know that most would advise you to AVOID anyone claiming to have teacup Yorkies. I would suggest, since you are willing to make such a big commitment to a living animal, that you at least take the time to research the breed first. It will only help you with your search in the long run.

Furthermore, breeding ethically is expensive, therefore, the pups are too. Breeders have expenses to cover–vet bills, medical testing, stock, food, whelping and grooming supplies, vaccinations, registration fees. You need to be realistic and understand what costs you are looking at, not expect a discount just "because" you want one.
