: )

Ha, but no, they really don’t – unless you like to support bad breeding and paying people for a genetically sick little runt that probably won’t live past its 1st birthday . . . .

Oh wait a minute, you said you want a free one. Yeah. Good luck with that.

well you are out of luck.. because there’s no such thing as a "teacup" yorkie.

Yorkies come in one size only.. they are just Yorkshire Terriers.. no "teacups" "minis" "toys" or any other such sizes.

Yorkies are expensive to breed- they often need cecarians, and have small litters. They are also a high demand breed. No one is going to give such a costly puppy away for free.

You can try shelter or rescue and adopt one for a fair adoption fee.. you wont likely find a young puppy, it happens- but not often.. but you can certainly find a yorkie http://www.petfinder.com

There is no such thing as a teacup dog. I doubt you’ll be able to get a dog free, especially a puppy free anywhere. If you really want a dog, wait until after the holidays, think about if you could actually afford a dog, and adopt from an animal shelter or reputable breeder. >.<

That’s where I live, too, actually.

You can check any of the local shelters. I’ve seen yorkies (although not quite free!) at several of them.

Here’s the addresses to Maricopa animal shelters:

You can also always check petfinder.com, but since teacups aren’t a real breed, just search for yorkshire terrier.

first there is no such thing as a teacup yorkie, only a dog that has been poorly bred to be small and will most likely have severe health issue’s and genitical defects, but i would suggest checking local shelters for yorkie’s.

becareful where you get your puppy a teacup yorkie is backyard breeder crap, the breeder will try to assure you its a real breed, and that its not just a defectedly small dog, and will most likely attempt to charge you lots of many claiming its "pure breed" (final warning a dog like that is likely to have major health issues all it is line of breeding the smaller dog’s and will most likely be inbred causing severe health issues)

1.) there is no such thing as a teacup anything (other than to drink out of). If they are promoting that is what they are selling, it is most likely a sick pup and will cost you in vet bills.

2.) You wont find anything worth having for free. Go to an animal shelter for the cheapest costs.

3.) If you cant afford the dog itself, than you probably cant afford to have the dog. Usually, the most expensive part of owning the dog comes post purchase. Vet bills, vaccinations, food, toys, treats, proper training, bedding, bowls, leash, collar, registration, microchipping, etc.

    4.) try puppyfind

I would suggest that before you actively try to get a dog, of any type, you take the time to educate yourself on the breed first. If you had done so, you would be well aware of the fact that there is no such thing as a teacup Yorkie and would realize the negative connotation associated with breeders that purposely breed extremely small dogs.
Also, you will be hard pressed to find ANY dog, even a rescue for free.

It is not your fault, but rather the fault of the media…but there is NO such dog as the "teacup Yorkie" and if you find a breeder who claims to have a "teacup", it is a scam. Please go to the website below to read about "teacup Yorkies".
