Teacup Yorkie Puppies

Does Anyone Know Where I Can Find a Teacup Yorkie Puppy Near Lancaster or Zanesville Ohio? and Under $200.?

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

Ok here is the truth….teacup yorkies do not exist…now small dogs or runts do happen its just life it happens not always bred from other runts since this can cause death in most cases if a female is to small a c-section is needed to deliver pups if not both mom and pups are in danger…Too small means not enough room for all organs to fully grow and will be harder to potty train because their bladder is way to small accidents will happen…even perfectly healthy runts in most cases will tend to be more expensive simply because of their fragile bones a simple jump off the couch can cause major damage to their hip or even brake a leg. They take 24/7 attention and if you dont have that time to spare than its best to get a standard yorkie which is small to begin with 7 pounds is what is allowed by AKC standards but I have seen a 10 pound yorkie still very small and very cute. This breed is very brave they are terriers after all so its important to get a healthy size yorkie. Go to a shelter if your looking to spend $200 or so but these dogs also have sensitive stomachs so you cant penny pinch on food it will get expensive perhaps another dog which wont be as sensitive would be a better choice?Good luck finding your pet

On Average, How Much Does a Teacup Yorkie Puppy Go For?

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

Thanks.

Around here I see them for $800-$1200 in the papers, upwards of $2000 in pet stores. Of Course You’ll have to tack on an extra $3700 for the vet fees because "teacups" are actually runts and have a gamma of genetic health problems. Throw in another $2000 for the "emotional trauma" when you realize that teacups have a shorter life span than their larger counterparts.

Is This Too Much for a Teacup Yorkie?

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

Hey guys! One of my friends has a friend whos grandma is selling her teacup yorkie puppy. She’ll be a year in August and wants 400 dollars for her. Is that too much? I think that 400 is the cheapest that I’ve seen for a teacup yorkie! Do you guys think its a good deal? Thanks!
Her grandma is getting rid of the yorkie puppy because shes too busy to take care of her and they want her to have a good home. She also has all her shots and everything up to date.

no that’s actually the cheapest i’ve seen too! i’ve seen some that were just a bit less that $400 but normally they’re about $1000 or +…
if the yorkie got all the shots and has been neutered or spayed i think that’s a good deal, if you’re ready, get him!!
good luck yorkies are osm =]

Looking for a Teacup Yorkie Puppy in or Around Lansing Michigan!?

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

Hello! I was wondering if there is anyone in michigan that has teacup yorkie pups for sale. I really look forward to adding on e of these little guys(or girls) to our family! I would also appreciate any good sites to find reputable breeders.
Ok I didn't know there wasn't a such thing as "teacup" yorkies, no need to shout in caps!..lol. Thanks for all the info!
Thanks caninelover, that's a great website you mentioned, I found a list of breeders in Michigan

As mentioned, there is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie. No need to feel bad about it, most people don't realize that until they study up on the breed. Which brings me to my second point….research the breed first. Learn what red flags are associated with Yorkie breeders, educate yourself on the breed standard and learn what medical tests should be performed. It will help you make a wise decision and better enable you to find a quality breeder and a quality dog.

Check with the parent breed club (ytca.org) for a list of recommended breeders in your area. Attend local shows, agility events or handling classes.

Where Can I Find Yorkie Puppies?

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

im looking to get a yorkie or teacup yorkie puppy. Im not really sure where to find them. HELP!!!

No such thing as a "teacup" dog – "teacup", "micro", "pocket", and in some cases "mini" are advertising terms irresponsible people use to sell their sickly undersized dogs for more money. You will not find one with genetic clearances, you will not find one that is "healthy."

If you want a Yorkshire Terrier then here:

I'm sure you can follow the links yourself to find the Yorkshire Terrier club of America…

What Would Happens if You Had a St. Bernard and a Teacup Yorkie Puppy Living in the Same House?

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Is this a trick question… since the yorkie doesn't come in a teacup size?

So my answer is going to be a st. bernard.

I have a 6lb yorkie that grew up with a 110lb GSD. They were fine together. But both were trained. And the GSD was the kindest sweetest dog around. I never feared he would hurt my dog. In fact, it was usually the other way around. The yorkie always wanted to start things he couldn't finish, always taunting the GSD and jumping up and punching him in the face and then running off.

But seriously, dont fall for the stupid teacup scam. Find a reputable breeder or adopt.

Should I Get a Yorkie or a Teacup Maltese Puppy?

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

And just so you know, their both very healthy, even the teacup maltese..my uncle's friend is selling one to me and I've seen them both before.
Sigh..ok he DOES care for the puppies, otherwise I wouldnt have considered buying one from him. He's a close family friend so it's not like he's a stranger. Just tell me Maltese or a Yorkie, that's all Im asking for.

I'd choose Yorkie. I have one and she's very smart and loving. I avoided getting a white dog because of their eyes making those streaks seems gross and would be harder to keep clean.

What Would Be a Good Name for My Teacup Yorkie Puppy That Is Being Shipped to Me From Africa?

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

my husband wants to name her Trouble, but i want something a little more sophisticated…. any ideas?
is it still a scam if she's free??

I hate to tell you this, but you don't need to be picking out names because you aren't getting one…..call any major airport and ask them how many people show up each day to pick up their puppy from Africa and it NEVER comes!
It's a scam…….

Edit: Yes, it's a scam if she's free…..they will tell you she's free and you just have to pay shipping…..you pay shipping and they never send you anything.
They asked you to pay shipping, didn't they?

This is one of the most popular scams out there right now. Don't fall for it. Think about it, why would anyone send you a puppy for free?
