what would be a good name for my teacup yorkie puppy that is being shipped to me from africa?

my husband wants to name her Trouble, but i want something a little more sophisticated…. any ideas?
is it still a scam if she's free??

I hate to tell you this, but you don't need to be picking out names because you aren't getting one…..call any major airport and ask them how many people show up each day to pick up their puppy from Africa and it NEVER comes!
It's a scam…….

Edit: Yes, it's a scam if she's free…..they will tell you she's free and you just have to pay shipping…..you pay shipping and they never send you anything.
They asked you to pay shipping, didn't they?

This is one of the most popular scams out there right now. Don't fall for it. Think about it, why would anyone send you a puppy for free?

heh Trouble sounds about right..

How about Scam?

Nonexistant?

You fell for the old African Scam.. there is NO yorkie.

ADDED

Yes, its a scam.. they offered a "free" dog, but you had to pay for the shipping… that's where you got scammed. You send money to have the dog shipped, and there is NO dog.

Think about it.. Yorkies are worth a LOT of money.. why would someone give a puppy away for free?

i like keily (pronounced kee-lee) for a yorkie

I hope this is just a joke question because it's highly doubtful that any dogs are shipped from Africa.

Africa is known for dog scams. Particularly bulldog scams, but I'm sure a desirable yorkie would also qualify.

Name her Connie, because you've been conned.

This is a scam, many people have fallen from it. I hope you haven't sent money, because you are never getting a dog.

how about scam or sucker. This is one of the oldest scams around. I hope you have not paid the "breeder" yet as you will never see a penny of your money or even the tiniest trace of a dog. Check a shelter in your area and adopt a yorkie. We get them all the time in the shelter where I work. Oh and there is no such thing as a teacup anything. It is not a real size description. It is a label that bad backyard breeders and unscrupulous puppy mills slap on to poorly bred runts so that someone will pay an outrageous sum for them.
If you have sent any money or any personal info or account info then you have been scammed big time. Sorry.

ETA: Yes it is still a scam, they will want you to pay "shipping charges" and import fees..and anything else they can think of and there is no dog. Even if you do not send any money ever and they get any of your personal information then they can use that to steal from you or perpetrate identity theft.

wow… i'm sorry to tell you but you will be lucky if you receive that "puppy". Let me tell you my story. I used to be searching like crazy for a yorkie, and i finally found them very cheap at craiglist, or just by google…at the end, when i was ready to pay them…i decided to search a bit more because this puppies were too cheap, like even less than $100. So me and my husband found this mafia all over the world, afrika, england…and many other places…you pay them the puppy, and you get nothing, its all a lie. Please be careful..it was really dissapointing for me…

Unless you actually know the breeders personally in Africa, you probably been scammed. Sorry.

Also "Teacup yorkie", is not a breed. It's really an adjective for the runt of the litter. Runts normally have more health problems then the standard size.

Trouble is a great name for a nonexistent puppy. You will lose all of your money and there is no puppy. This is a well-known scam!

you are kidding right? you aren't seriously getting a dog shipped to you from africa? this is the biggest scam that is on the internet today and if you have already sent your money, you just lost however much you sent and do not expect anything in return. Oh and by the way there is no such thing as a teacup dog of any breed. they are just runts of the litter who end up living about 2 years and you and your vet will become very good friends and you will probably send all his kids to collage with the money you will be spending on the dogs health issues.

I just informed my mother who was thinking about getting a free teacup Yorkie. I was actually setting up facebook for her and had to use her e-mail and she asked me to see if there was any response from a lady who ran an add about free puppies. Of course they were in Africa and they were a christian family and that Africa was not a safe place for them to be…Right….Nigeria helllloooo……Everyone should have heard about these scams….Maybe not people who don't know much about the internet these days…Love ya mom…So anyways she did respond…Hellen Wang was her name….SCAM SCAM…..only pay part of the shipping which was $480.00…money order or wired…Don't think so… I was glad to have seen this before my mom did anything more…Its a good thing that no info had been given from my mothers part…

Everyone be aware…no matter if it is in the paper and free don't get sucked into it…Know the breeder…talk to them face to face…on the phone…get an address do the research…do send money right away…be smart…
