I purchased a purbred dog, a pembrook welch corgi. I got him at 6 weeks old. Loved him to peices. He ran out of the house shortly before his 2nd birthday and was killed in front of the house.
I replaced him with a dog from the pound. Paid half as much, put poured my heart into this dog and he turned out to be more lovable and devoted to me for saving him from the shelter.
My advice is visit the shelters. Visit often. Get to know the employees there. After visiting and developing a relationship, ask them to keep an eye out for a yorkie for you. It will take a long time, but for the price you are planning to spend, it will take work.

If you go online you can usually find people that will ship the dog to you. My boyfriend found me the dog I wanted ut it was too old, (of course when i say that i mean like three months!) usually big breeders will give you a good deal, and i will always have a purebreed, i'm in texas, but two of my neighbors in my apartment complex have some, and they didn't pay over $300. It doesn't cost much to ship a dog.

hi, all of the yorkies i've seen have been around 800 for females and 900 for males, i saw an ad for some at those prices. they are supposed to be around 2-3 pounds the number for those was (334) 222-2340…
i did see one for $250. but it was a yorkie/shih tzu mix. which are also small, and look pretty much the same, but are not pure breed. the number for those is- (334) 263-3065

you can find some online, but most cost between 250 and 300 to ship…
