There is no such thing. Breeders advertise tiny pups as teacups. It's actually a defect. You will just be getting a sickly runt. It's a gimmick to sell to unknowing ppl, a sales-pitch. Yorkies are supposed to be around 4-6 pounds. Thats small enough, anything smaller is usually riddled with health problems.
Remember, you get what you pay for. If you know they are expensive, and you find one cheap, it's probably too good to be true. Keep checking with the shelters and just wait……. they will get a little one in and you can be the person who saves it!
Good luck, and God bless.

There is no such thing as a teacup anything let alone a teacup yorkie. 7pounds and under. You shouldn't want anything less than 4lbs. Despite what the idiot above me says the smaller the dog the more likely it is to have health issues and not live long.
Anyone selling "teacups" is not going to sell them for cheap because they know no one buying from them has actually done their homework to know they are paying too much for a badly bred pup
If you want a dog for 300 or less go to your local shelter and adopt. You aren't going to get a well bred dog from a good breeder for that low of a price.

For starters, there is no such thing as a 'teacup' Yorkie. Teacup is a marketing term used by unethical breeders to describe dogs bred to be extremely small with no regard for the overall health of the animals. These are the types of "breeders" you should avoid.
I would suggest that before you actively try to get a dog of any type, you at least take the time to research the breed FIRST. It will better enable you to make a wise decision when selecting a dog and help you avoid being taken advantage of by shady breeders.
As far as finding a Yorkie for under $300, you are going to be hard pressed to find one. Yes, they are expensive…so are BMW's, and like cars, you aren't likely to get a hand out just because you "want one real bad." If you want something, you have to expect to pay the asking price.
Breeding ethically is expensive, so are the pups. Breeders have costs of stock, whelping and grooming supplies, registration fees, medical testing, vet bills, food, genetic testing, vaccinations, etc etc to cover. $300 wouldn't begin to cover all that for even one pup. Which of those things are you willing to sacrifice for the sake of getting a cheap dog?
I would suggest you take your time, research the breed and focus more on finding an honest breeder and less on price. You need to adjust your budget to match the expenses breeders are trying to cover, not expect them to lower THEIR standards to meet YOUR demands.
Good luck.
