hi i know i already submitted a similar question but i wanted to include the ad
THESE TEACUP YORKIE PUPPIES are all home raised and have being taking potty ,crate, and toilet training lessons since birth .They are socialized and get along with children and other pets.Vet checked ,have got all recent wormings and come with 1 year health guarantee, warranty and all medical health reports.Included in the package are some of their toys $130.00. obo. toronto.
do you think this is okay? ps. it is a pickup and pay at same time( not an around the world scam) also what questions should i ask them?
if i read he medical records and they are up to date shouldntthat be ok
***PS it is an ad i found i am iterested in not mine!!
oooh that sounds fishy. i think that you get what you pay for and at $130 i doubt that they are trained like it states and I'm sure they aren't AKC registered i also find it hard to believe that they have gotten shots. it look like a lot of talk.
also don't buy a teacup dog because they are poorly bred.

Well teacups don't exist, so no I don't think it's OK. Adopt one from a Yorkie rescue.

"lessons"? Potty "lessons"? Shots and vet care are really expensive, I don't know how anyone can offer a healthy puppy for that amount, unless they're not breeding for profit and just want to find good homes for the dogs they accidentally had and recover some of the costs they've put into them.

I would RUN from anyone who is advertising "teacup" puppies.
How can they be potty and crate trained from birth?

No, it's not ok.
For one thing, if they were truly "vet checked" (including diagnostics, vaccines, etc) that would cost more than the price they're asking for the animal!
Also, even though this isn't really a breed, a lot of people charge $1000 for them (and apparently they get it). Why would someone sell it so cheap?
This is just wrong – all wrong.

Yes, I would buy one from you if I lived there. It is a good ad. You should ask could you visit their home now and then to check on the puppy. And you could ask how long if any time at all, will the puppy be home alone. Just make sure the person has the right environment to bring up the pup.

just because it's not around the world doesn't mean it isn't a scam! for one thing "potty" and "toilet training" are the same thing and i doubt they started at birth! exactly where are they going to suggest the "trade off"? it definitely sounds fishy to me! you should contact them and ask what does the guarantee cover/promise, what kind of "warranty", and the big one…why are they selling this puppy so cheap?ask to see the parents and living arrangements as well! make sure they aren't giving away puppies less than at least 10-12 weeks old!be VERY cautious!! if it sounds too good to be true..it usually is!
p.s. make sure the medical records are for that puppy! and just because they are up to date doesn't mean everything should be ok! like i said make sure they aren't using the same records for each puppy and ask them to see the medical records for both parents if possible (at least for the mother!)
