I want a teacup yorkie, but the problem is my parents. Can u help?
My parents trust me and think I am responsible to have a dog except, my dad doesn't want one climbing and ruining furniture and peeing on it, while my mom has allergies and she thinks a dog is a bad idea!!!
Please help me prove to my parents they are great companions and are wonderful pets.
i think i may have a solution, a yorkshire terrier(if you like small breeds). They arent big enough to do any damage to furniture for the most part,if they do have accidents they arent very big, and they are hypo allergenic, my husband has bad allergies as well to dogs and our yorkies sleep with us every night with no problem! They are on the pricey side but theyre well worth it! They're also great because they dont need a whole lot of space if you dont have it and you can cart them anywhere. Run this breed by your parents and be sure to show them a picture because they are ADORABLE!!! you can find one for sale on craigslist, puppyfind.com, and also your local newspaper classifieds.

I am sorry but if your parents feel like that getting a dog is not a good idea. Shelters are full of dogs from homes where parents gave in against their better judgement.

have a tea cup yorkie, and they are EXTREMELY aswume dogs, they don't shed, or hardly bother anything or anyone, so good luck

This site will tell you all about teacup yorkies. Show it to your parents before buying one!
This is the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America, so trust what they say before random puppy sites.

And they aren't allergy free, so your mom may still have problems.
ALl that other stuff is training, so if they aren't patient enough to wait for you to train it then I would worry about them getting rid of the dog prematurely or if you can't handle it.

If your mom has allergies, you might suggest getting one of the breeds of dog that is less likely to cause problems for her. I think schnauzers and poodles were on that list, and something else. You can look that up. As for your dad, you will need to convince him that you'll take the dog to obedience classes and make sure it is well-trained so that it doesn't jump on the furniture, pee in the house, or behave badly in any other way. You might also mention getting an adult dog instead of a puppy, since puppies inevitably have 'accidents' in the house and will want to chew on things while they're growing up.

i own 2 yorkies!
Poodles!
3 sizes many colors….
Do not shed….. Great for those families who have allergies because they don't shed. Poodles produce very low pet dander.

For starters, there is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie. It is a marketing term used by unethical breeders. I would suggest that you take the time to thoroughly research this breed–you claim to be willing to make a long term commitment to a Yorkie by getting a puppy, yet are very uninformed on the breed itself.
Perhaps in doing that, you can make sure for yourself that you are making the right decision and ready for this kind of responsibility and it will show your parents that you are serious and ready to take on a puppy/dog as well.
Bottom line is though, if you are still residing in the Case de Sus Parents, you have to live by their rules.
