I have searched every petstore in my area and I have found nothing that will fit her. Does anyone know of any online stores that makes clothes for dogs her size? Keep all "teacups are bad" and "dressing your dog is cruel" comments to yourself.

I think what bothers people most is that when they say that they have an AKC Teacup Yorkie.
Besides, Yorkies are already small enough. Why does one need to identify one as being "teacup"? It really doesn’t matter what the problem is with the dog… it’s still a Yorkie.

well to be honset there is no such thing as a tea cup anything as far as AKC or CKC. It is just a chance you take that you get a small one. must of the time if both the parents are small it will be small and yeah ppl do call them mini’s, teacups and other small terms but if you ready the register papers i do believe you will see that its just a yorkie. At least that is what i have been told. Due to the fact I have a almost 3 lb chihuahua and he is full grown. His mom is 5lbs and his dad is 8lbs but you see his brother at 10 weeks was more than he is now and he was just 1lb 4oz. His brother over powered him when there were in the mommy. Best guess would be to find out how big the parnets are and give it a guess when the puppy is about 8 to 10 weeks old. Hope this helped

How Can I Stop a Teacup Yorkie From Continually Shaking?
Thursday, July 30th, 2009I have a teacup yorkie that is appx 3 years old. Her name is Armini. Ever since we had her she shakes uncontrollably. When we go near her and say Armini come here she gets that excited she just shakes and shakes and shakes. SHe does the same, however when someone new is near. She will hide under our dining room table and just shake and shake. I know this is not normal whatsoever.
What can be done?

Teacup yorkies are bred by irresponsible breeders who keep breeding generations of runts until the dog is small enough. The problem is that this guarantees unhealthy dogs who need more than the average amount of vet care.
Please get her to a vet.
Can My Teacup Yorkie Play With My Other Dogs?
Wednesday, July 15th, 2009I got a 6 week old female teacup yorkie on Saturday, she is really sweet but of course she is smaller than the average yorkie so i’m worried about her playing with my other dogs. I have a APBT, Newfoundland, Beagle and American bulldog and they are MUCH bigger than her, do you all think she could safely play with them without getting injured? My pit bull is really playful but I think she doesn’t know her own strength.
There is NO SUCH THING as a teacup yorkie. She is going to be the same size as a regular yorkie. Did you know so called ‘teacups’ are actually runts and have serious health problems? I bet you paid loads for that dog.
As for your 6 week old puppy playing with grown dogs… you have to be absolutely NUTS.

i’m not sure you will find one at a pound most pounds sell small dogs as soon as they come in.
for one from a byber about $800.
if you buy from a reputable breeder you are the same as buying one from a puppymill.

There is no such thing as a "teacup Yorkie". They come in one size and anyone who is advertising them as "teacups" is only putting a name on the runt of the litter. They are usually very sickly and have extensive medical problems.
Runts usually stay a bit smaller than the standard, but not always does the runt of the litter stay the runt. Toy breeds reach full grown between the ages of 9 months to a year. Large breeds can grow up to 2 years.

Healthy, well-bred Yorkies aren't "free or cheap". Ironically, the horribly bred little runts that unethical breeders advertise as "teacup" are even more expensive than a well-bred Yorkie.
Understand that an ethical breeder knows that Yorkies come in ONE size. Small.
