This is impossible to answer since there is no such thing as a teacup yorkie.

You might as well ask how big will a Unicorn get.

There are no such pups as Teacups, this is a marketing ploy for BYB to get rid of sickly mutts, like a scratch and dent sale=damaged merchandise. If you want a sickly runt find a BYB in the newspaper or on the web. BYB or PMs do not show their dogs, do not test for genetic defects, do not care if you can afford the thousands of $$ in vet bills nor do their care if you have 6 kids under 7 yrs old and are knocked up again.BYB and PMs also breed more than 1 breed usually. Yorkies are not supposed to be large than 7lbs. Most dogs under 2lbs are going to have multiple health problems so it is your choice to have a sickly runt or poorly bred dog or go to a reputable breeder and get a health friendly dog.

There is no such thing as a "teacup" dog or the size "teacup" in a dog. Bad breeders use this term just to encourage people who want small dogs to buy. People who try to breed for a "teacup" size (which is usually considered 2 lbs, although there isn’t an official definition) do terrible things to their dog to get them that small.

They might feed their dogs very little so that they are malnourished and don’t grow properly. They might try to breed during a certain time of a female dog’s cycle in order to get premature pups. Or they might breed runts together in order to get a tinier dog.

That last statement doesn’t sound all that bad, but it is because the smaller the dog, the more fragile it is. I’ve heard stories of "teacup" dogs jumping from a distance of less than two feet from a sofa and BREAKING THEIR LEG! Can you imagine trying to care for someone so small and fragile? You’d have to watch him every second and you’d end up paying a lot in vet bills.

Don’t EVER buy from a pet store. They get their dogs from backyard breeders (another term for bad breeders) and/or puppy mills. They are even worse than backyard breeders because they keep their puppies in cages all day and they often don’t learn how to walk for the longest time because there isn’t enough room. Here’s a website to learn about puppy mills:

PLEASE read, read, read before buying a dog. Your going to regret it later if you don’t.

since teacups are just a designer name for sickly runts, i would say one and a half pounds.

There is no such thing as a "teacup Yorkie". There is no such thing as a "toy Yorkie".

Look. The breed standard for the Yorkie says that a Yorkie should be "no more than seven pounds".

If seven pounds is too big a dog for you, then get a guinea pig.

Don’t give money to irresponsible idiots who breed runts and spit out unhealthy, undersized puppies. The puppies are prone to liver and heart problems, and all you’re doing is making some stupid idiot rich with your own ignorance and some poor dog’s suffering.

Yorkies come in ONE SIZE ONLY.

Yorkies are 7 pds or less.. but reputable breeders dont typically breed dogs smaller than about 3 1/2- 4 pds.. 7 pds is certainly small enough.

The breed club can refer you to a reputable breeder and provide info on yorkies.. http://www.ytca.org/

As others have mentioned, there is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie. It’s a marketing term used by unethical breeders to describe dogs bred to be extremely small with no regard for the overall health of the animal. In otherwords, the kind of breeder you want to avoid!

I would suggest that before you actively try to aquire a Yorkie, or any other type of dog, you research the breed thoroughly first. It will give you some good basic information (like that there are no teacups) and help you to avoid being taken advantage of.
