No such thing as a "teacup" dog. They are sickly runts bred by backyard breeders. If you get one be prepared for some hefty vet bills.

Good breeders do not breed "teacups".

And good luck getting one for a reasonable price. "Teacup" is a marketing term used to sell undersized, unhealthy animals to unsuspecting buyers at high prices.

If you're determined to do this, PLEASE research it before doing so. Teacup yorkies were created by breeding generations of runts. Not only does this make them smaller and more unhealthy, it GUARANTEES that the yorkies will have the genetic defects that yorkies are prone to. It's easy to fall in love with an adorable tiny puppy that seems healthy, but these are not healthy dogs and any vet will confirm this for you. My vet thinks breeders of teacups should be in jail for animal cruelty and false advertising. The false advertising is because they offer health guarantees for up to a year. This is worthless, because the serious illnesses generally don't show up until about 18 months or so.

I promise if you go to the kennel/breeder and ask these people about DNA testing, and written confirmation of this, you'll get a blank stare. Yet legit yorkie breeders would provide it with no question.

You'll be paying top dollar for an unhealthy animal and supporting puppy mills in the process. Don't get fooled by a pretty website.

First there's no Teacup Yorkie breed so no reputable breeder is going to sell them. "Teacup" Yorkie's are premature/ undersized(aka runt) yorkshire terriers sold by scumbags (backyard breeders/puppy mills) to uninformed owners. Try searching the internet for what Teacup Yorkie's actually are and see what you find. It is a shame that people who do this to dogs claim to be responsible breeders.

If you still want a Yorkie check out pet-finder. Everyday people turn in "teacup" Yorkie's to shelters because they were unprepared for the responsibilities that being a dog owner carry. If you don't find one you like now check back after Christmas or Valentine's Day. Shelters are usually overrun with "present" puppies about a month or two after these holidays.

….And congratulations on making an informed purchase that will be with you for the next 10 years (well 10 years if you are lucky, "teacups" are usually plagued with health issues). Sorry for being harsh but if you are asking this question you haven't done your homework and are not ready for a dog.

Whatever you do, do not go to a petstore! Those dogs are from puppy mills.
I took a few minutes to go on petfinder.com, they have homeless and adoptable animals all over the country. I dont know where you live, but i can show you the baby yorkies they have that need a home.

There are many more on the website and they are a nonprofit organization so the price wont be high. I think they are usually $100-$500 dollars max.

Please look at this website and give a furry friend a home!

You can't. Reason being–there is no such thing as a teacup Yorkie. It's a marketing term used by unethical breeders to describe dogs bred to be extremely small. In short, something no reputable breeder would ever do.

I would suggest that before you actively try to acquire a Yorkie, you take the time to educate yourself on the breed first. It will only benefit you in the long run by helping you to make a wise decision and avoid being taken advantage of by shady breeders. (It's actually kind of shocking that you are trying to find a dog without having done your research first.)
