Where can I get a yorkie teacup?
I live in the WDC area I would like to know where is it possible to purchase a yorkie teacup (small dog) at price ranging between $500-700 or even cheaper online or in person although I dont have a car.
There is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie. Teacup is a marketing term used by unethical breeders to describe dogs bred to be extremely small, generally with no regard to the overall health of the dogs. These are the types of breeders you should avoid at all costs.
I would suggest that before you actively start trying to find a dog, you take the time to educate yourself on the breed FIRST. It will help you recognize common red flags associated with Yorkie breeders so that you know which ones to pass up. It will also enable you to better determine if a dog you are considering is a quality representation of the breed. Learn about the breed specific issues that affect Yorkies so that you know which health screenings to ask breeders about.
Attend some local conformation or agility events. Introduce yourself to some breeders/owners. Go to handling classes in your area. The search for a good, reputable, ethical breeder doesn't happen overnight.
Good luck!

there is no such thing sop good luck. most breeders that add tea cup names to their dogs are NOT ethical breeders & your chances of getting an unhealthy runt is high.

wow…you would spend that much on a poorly bred yorkie? Why don't you take $200 and use it towards an adoption fee at a yorkie rescue…put the rest in the bank.

There is no such thing as a teacup Yorkie. "Teacup" is the term of scammer breeders everywhere for undersized runts that are sickly and frail and often have massive health problems. Avoid anyone that advertises a teacup dog. These scammers charge way more than the $500-700 you are talking about.
A standard Yorkie is about 6 lbs. That is small enough.

There is so much wrong with this…
You don't want a "teacup" anything. You don't want to buy it online. And quality dogs don't have a price limit.
Do some research in the Yorkie. Look at the "truth about teacups".

For that kind of money find a REPUTABLE breeder through the Yorkshire terrier club of america - http://ytca.org and get a YORKIE.
There is no such thing as a teacup dog unless its made out of china. Yorkies are to be no heavier than 7lbs.

there's no such thing as a "teacup".. Yorkies come in ONE size only.. there's no "teacups" "toys" "minis" or any other size.. those are just scam labels used by irresponsible breeders to sell a sickly runt for a high price tag. Yorkies are tiny already at 7 pds or less.
You wont find a well-bred yorkie for that price.. yorkies are expensive to breed anyways, and reputable breeders put extra expence into genetic health tests.
try shelter or rescue http://www.petfinder.com.. you cant just order a dog online and have it shipped to your home.. you will have to plan to actually go somewhere and pick it up.

you will have to do a search in your area for dog breeders…in all honesty there is no such thing as a tea cup yorkie..they are really just a runt of the litter that stay under 5lbs…also you want to stay away from the "silky" yorkies because they are the bigger of the breed…
my mother spent 600 on her 6lb yorkie angel…she came from award winning parents..but we didn't get papers on her either that would be another 400…we live in iowa so i don't know your prices but i highly doubt you will be able to get your lovable yorkie to fit your price range if you absolutely need papers…good luck finding your pooch they are very fun dogs extremely playful and hyper and sweet all at the same time =)

there's no such thing as a teacup yorkie thats just a name irresponsible breeders give to runts to sell them they usually cost more in the long run in vets bills as they tend to be sickly, if you want a yorkie have a look in rescue shelters they may have some yorkies there if not look for a reputable breeder to buy your dog from.
