Where to get a Free Teacup Yorkie?
I would like to get a Teacup Yorkie, but for free or little money as possible. Any ideas where to get one?
Healthy, well-bred Yorkies aren't "free or cheap". Ironically, the horribly bred little runts that unethical breeders advertise as "teacup" are even more expensive than a well-bred Yorkie.
Understand that an ethical breeder knows that Yorkies come in ONE size. Small.

You might consider Yorkie rescue, if money is a problem.

No such thing as a "teacup" anything.
So my answer is No where.

There's no such thing as a teacup any breed. So I suppose if you have a good imagination you can think a free one up all by yourself.
Also "free" dogs aren't really free.

Educate yourself, this goes for the morons below me saying that "OMFGZ teacup yorkies r lyke reeely reel!"

There is no such thing as a teacup yorkie. Sadly, breeders breed runts to runts so they are smaller, and they are usually sickly and poor specimens of the breed. Most breeders also charge insane prices for them.
Your best bet is to go to a shelter, all you have to pay is an adoption fee. Try http://www.petfinder.com
Also, you can try:

Make sure you have enough money for the dog though!

Well to start of with there is no such thing as a teacup yorkie and i highly doubt you will get a yorkie for free anywhere.

I would look in a quick quarter or a type of local magazines. Sometimes the new puppies there are so many they give free or sell cheap.
Hope that helps

there are teacup sized yorkies, but they're usually the more expensive ones. I would check the local animal shelter, that's probably the cheapest place to get a more expensive dog if you can find one. you can also check online, but I doubt you'll find one for free or anywhere near it.

Your local puppy mill will have plenty, because no self-respecting breeder would ever intentionally breed runts - which is what 'tea cup' dogs are. It's just a gimmick used by unscrupulous breeders to sell sick puppies for lots of money. Yorkies are already very small - why would you want anything smaller?
As for a free or near-to-free dog, have you thought about all the costs that come AFTER buying a dog? Vaccinations, neuter/spay, vet check-ups or emergencies, food, accessories, licenses, medications, etc … if you cannot afford the upkeep of a dog, then you should not own one. Consider rescuing instead. http://www.petfinder.com

don't listen ti idiot under me there is a teacup yorkie poodle Schnauzer there very small smaller than Miniature poodle yorkie ETC. but to answer ur question no not for free teacup breeds r more expensive than regular or "standard poodles Yorkie Schnauzer ETC… go to a shelter there might be 1 for adoption MIGHT there in popular demand

If you want a sick or deformed yorkie, you can go to a breeder who usually has them which wouldn't sell and have never seen grass and have aggression problems. You may get it free that way.

No such thing as a teacup yorkie! Why would you want a free dog? If you can not afford to buy a dog how are you going to afford all of the expenses of owning a dog? Not just food, toys, treats, beds and so on but also vet bills, vaccinations, checkups, and if the dog gets sick or so on?

Don't. There is no such thing as a teacup anything. This is a fad, a name irresponsible breeders hang on their runts. You may find a cheap runt, and then end up paying loads to a vet throughout his life. Better to save up for a properly bred healthy Yorkie from a good breeder.

No such thing, why do you want a runt and mutated dog? If you can't afford to pay for a healthy puppy from good stock you can't afford to look after it either, so don't bother. Get a nintendog or stuffed toy.

You can't get one because there is NO such thing. And even if there was, why would someone give you one for free?
If you can't afford to purchase a dog, how will you care for one?

Here's the reality of it…there is no such thing as a teacup Yorkie.
Other phrases to look out for are: tinies, pocket Yorkie's and micro Yorkies.
These are terms used by so-called breeders that only mean one thing…dollar signs.
Here are the facts:
Many of these "breeders" attempt to breed their dogs down in size. This can lead to a world of health problems, such as, but not limited to, open fontanels, soft pallet, hypoglycemia, heart problems, lack of teeth or improper bite, and a plethora of other issues. Not only can they be unsound physically, but mentally as well.
Pups should be started on food at about two weeks of age. There are people who won't put them on food in order to keep them smaller. These are the pups you see that have a brownish/reddish/orange color all around the mouth and muzzle area, the extent of the color indicates how bad the situation truly is.
Letting pups go before they are 12 weeks of age, or lying about their age are other ploys they use. Even if they're going to be 15 lbs adult weight, a 6 week old puppy looks awfully small.

For starters, there is no such thing as "teacup"..that's a term used by unethicla breeders to describe dogs bred to be extremely small with no regard to the overall health of the animal. These are breeders that should be AVOIDED! At the very least, research the breed before you try to actively get one.
Secondly, you have as much chance of getting a FREE Yorkie as I have of getting a FREE Mercedes. Just because you "want" something does not mean you are entitled to a hand out.
Research the breed, get a job, save your money, just like EVERYONE else has to do. I personally find it very arrogant and rude when people feel like they are the exception and should get something for nothing.
