I accidentally stepped on my Teacup Yorkies front left foot. Now he's limping and hardly using his foot.?
How do I know if I broke his foot? I feel so bad….please help~
I was examing his foot…..massaging it a bit, and he doesn't seem to be in any pain. Does that mean it's not broken?
If his foot is broken, around how much will it cost to get it fixed? I don't mind paying, I just want to know an estimate so that I'm somewhat educated…
The only way to know is to get it x-rayed. Their bones are very small and will easily snap, it needs looking at asap.
My sister did the same thing with her Jack Russell and she had a broken leg.

TAKE HER HIM TO THE VET IT MAY COST SOME MONEY BUT I BET YOU LOVE YOUR DOG SO IT WELL BE WORTH IT

first you have a yorkie, there's no recognized teacup any breed.
just keep him calm for the night. if he's still in pain in the morning take him to the vet. only a vet can tell you 100% if it's broken and how best to treat it.
do not give this little of a dog any human meds unless a vet tells you to. they are so small you can harm them with human meds easily.

aw poor guy ya take him to the vet that should be obviose good luck with your little guy

Your undersized [there's no such thing as teacup, it's a scam look it up] Yorkie probably has an injured/broken foot. best thing to do is consult with a vet. We can't diagnose your animal online.

Runts like your dog, especially poorly bred ones, are VERY fragile. Take him to the vet.

First off, take your dog to the vet.
Second, there is no such a thing as a "teacup" anything.

I agree with all the above: Take him right to the vet as soon as it opens. I had a cat who got his front leg broken and the vet set the bone and the cat came home with a "corndog" leg. It was casted just like a human break would be and then wrapped with ace bandage material and it looked like a corndog. It was difficult for him to get around at first because the thickness of the cast made that leg longer, but soon enough he was outrunning his brother as they race through the house playing. It was funny. And he walked normally after his cast came off.
And NEVER give aspirin to any pet! And don't try to "cast" it yourself. Maybe find a box for him to rest in with lots of fluffy blanketing for cushion.

Hi
The massaging of his foot without him acting like he's in pain, is a positive sign, but does not necessarily mean it's ok, or not fractured.
Do not bandage it, but do watch for swelling. If you notice swelling, an ice pack, or a bag of frozen peas, ect…, would be a good idea.
You should keep him relaxed & quiet, until the Vet opens. Then you can call, and tell them what happened, and how he is acting.
Best of luck.

The poor little baby needs to see a vet, it could be broken, don't let it go please….or it could just have really hurt bad when you stepped on him…but only a vet can tell you if its broken or not……..they are fragile, and tiny dogs do tend to cry a lot when hurt, so he may be begging mom for some extra love…….but do not give any meds at home, unless the vet gives them to you, dont wanna hurt your little dog, human meds are not safe for any size dog
and also, I am sorry you broke your teacup, just trying to make you smile, the baby will be fine, just get to the vet okay.
good luck
and I hope your little Yorkie gets well soon.
