Where Can I Find Teacup Yorkies for Sale in Indiana?

Monday, April 12th, 2010

I am looking to buy a teacup yorkie but I am not really sure where to look. I have been looking online but I am not sure how to tell if it is a scam or for real. I have found a few breeders that look serious but they are asking hundreds to thousands of dollars and unfortunately can’t afford a puppy that cost that much.

Teacup Yorkies aren’t real!

Tiny Teacup Yorkies in Dallas Fort Worth Area?

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

I have been wanting a teacup yorkie forever and dont know where to find one. If you have any information on where i could get one please let me know?
If your going to be a b**** about it or negative please dont answer this question.
Ok can people calm down about the word teacup. its just a word i didnt say anything about it being a breed. geez get your panties out a bunch.

You can get tiny teacups from your local department store. Not sure if you will find any with pictures of Yorkies on them though.

You couldn’t possibly be talking about a REAL dog, right?
I mean there is no such thing as a "teacup" breed, but you already knew that right?

Can You Buy Teacup Yorkies in England if So Can You Tell Me Where?

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

i would like to own little teacup yorkie but dont no where to get one onley in the u.s.a not fare to have it shiped over

Yorkies come in ONE SIZE, so you can’t buy a "teacup" Yorkie anywhere, since they don’t actually exist, except in the minds of unscrupulous, greedy breeders. But if you’re just looking for a smaller-than-it-should-be, possibly unhealthy, poorly-bred Yorkie from a BYB (which is what a "teacup" Yorkie actually is), you can get them everywhere. Just open your local newspaper classifieds to the Pets section and you’ll find plenty.

Yorkies are already very small dogs, so you don’t need a so-called "teacup" Yorkie to have a small Yorkie. Any Yorkie from a reputable breeder or shelter will be very small. Any breeder claiming to have "teacup" dog of ANY breed is not someone you want to be getting a dog from, because they will not be breeding quality pups.

Looking for Teacup Yorkies Are Minature Pinscher?

Monday, January 4th, 2010

I am trying to find a teacup yorkie are a pinscher. I have looked every where but can’t seem to find nothing with a reasonable price, I am looking to spend at the max $200. If someone knows where I could locate one of these dogs I would really appreciate it. Thanks

You will not find anything "Teacup" for that price. The name Teacup means nothing except money to breeders. They are puppies that are born extremely premature (usually by c-section) and sold for crazy amounts of money. The people who create these dogs are horrible and only care about the money, not the dogs. The dogs themselves are very unhealthy and have lots of developmental problems and weak immune systems. Their bones are extremely delicate and can easily break if they fall or get stepped on. They often have medical problems their entire life, usually respiratory and die within a few years. If you can find a cheap one, it’s going to cost you 10x as much as a normal dogs vet bills in half the time. Your vet may also not completely vaccinate the dog. Where a normal dog takes 1cc of a vaccine, the vet might want to do several doses until it is fully vaccinated.

Please do not contribute money to this horrible practice.

What Kind of Dog Food Do Teacup Yorkies Like?

Saturday, September 19th, 2009

I just got my little 10 week old puppy today and I bought him "puppy chow" but he wont go near it. I tried feeding him bacon treats and he loves them but won’t go near the food..any specific brand they like?
i just got her today and he only ate bacon strips, i tried dry food but it didnt work

you got a teacup? be very careful as teacups are a lot of work b/c they are underdeveloped dogs. what happens is breeders take puppies (not dogs) and breed them to get tiny puppies which can cause many health problems in a puppy (especially the heart).

what you NEED TO DO is get chicken and rice wet food or something similar to that. you need to feed him two-three times a day but dont feed him too much or he’ll throw it up.

if he does not eat that get A/D food (also wet food) and mix it with half a scoop of milk supplement for puppies and add a little water so its syrupy.

if he does not eat this you need to get a syringe (with no needle) and feed him 10ml three-four times a day of the A/D milk.

also make sure he is drinking water. again if he is not you need to syringe 10ml four times at least a day.

puppies that little NEED nutri-stat. it is VERY good for puppies who are underweight like yours. you take the tube and fill from the beginning of your fingertip to the first line on your finger (so almost a third of your finger) and let him lick it off your finger. you need to do this once in the morning and once at night. this will give your yorkie his vitamins and helps him eat better and be more active. if you dont want to use the nutristat on your finger use it in a syringe and fill it to 1ml.

you can find all this at your local petsmart or walmart or something.

if you can weigh your yorkie daily to make sure he is not losing weight and until he reaches a decent weight (3lbs or so).

again you need to make sure your puppy eats and gets water and its vitamins. puppies that little are always in danger of going hypoglycemic if they are not getting what they need and if they do go hypo it takes a bit to get them stabilized and even then if you dont know what how to stabilize the puppy it can get very sick and then you’ll have to take it to the vet so they can treat it and that can be quite a fortune.

message if you have any other questions. sorry if i sounded demanding at all or anything. just trying to help you and your puppy out :) good luck!

ps~always leave a little dry food out but its likely he will not eat it. he’ll make a mess of it if anything. lol. but it will be there if he starts munching on it.

Where Can I Find Cheap Teacup Yorkies in Philadelphia Pa?

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

i’ve been looking for CHEAPPP teacup yorkie puppies in philadelphia but cant find any in philly or the surrounding areas for a good price. I also looked to adopt one. HELLLLP ?!

First of all, the term teacup comes from puppy mills to make their dogs more enticing. Second, yorkies are one of the most popular small breeds out there and you’ll be lucky to find one for less than several hundred dollars. In fact, I’d say it’s almost impossible to find one for less. Try looking on Craigslist or www.petfinder.com though.

Positives and Negatives of Teacup Yorkies?

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

I am interested in purchasing a teacup yorkie soon, but have heard mixed feelings about these dogs. I want to know everything positive and negative about these dogs. If anyone could help that would be great.

Positive:
None

Negatives:
You will be giving money to an unethical breeder
They are usually sickly and vet bills will be sky high
Too small and fragile to do anything with
Will likely die in a few years if it lives that long

"Teacup" is a title slapped on runts by BYB’s and puppy mills. These dogs are not to breed standard and were bred for profit. Standard Yorkies are plenty small. I don’t really know why anyone needs a dog under 4 pounds.
