Teacup Yorkies

i wanna buy one but i wanna kno if their very delicate or like get sick a lot idk mostly about their health and also how are they all info..thakns guys

There is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie. "Teacup" is only a sales ploy that irresponsible breeders use to sell puppies. These pups are only Yorkies that are bred to be smaller then the breed standard. This is not a good thing. These dogs often have health issues..heart, kidney, liver, etc.

I just had a 9 1/2 month old female die on me a couple of weeks ago between the time we went to sleep and the time I woke up. I knew she wasn't feeling good, but I kept running water on her and it seemed like she was getting her personality back and acting normal again. I've been sick ever since. She was so cool, had a great demeanor, an awesome personality. She was my best friend by far, and I'm going crazy I have to have another little cutie soon, I keep hoping she's gonna walk up behind me, or jump up on the couch or follow me to the bathroom, or kitchen. I miss her like CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any help would be appreciated. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no such thing as a "teacup yorkie"

How do I know if I broke his foot? I feel so bad….please help~
I was examing his foot…..massaging it a bit, and he doesn't seem to be in any pain. Does that mean it's not broken?
If his foot is broken, around how much will it cost to get it fixed? I don't mind paying, I just want to know an estimate so that I'm somewhat educated…

The only way to know is to get it x-rayed. Their bones are very small and will easily snap, it needs looking at asap.
My sister did the same thing with her Jack Russell and she had a broken leg.

I'm interested in buying one of these dogs. The only reason I don't like the regular yorkies is the way they look when they are full grown. I like the features they have when they are young. Does the Morkies look the same full grown as they do when they are younger? I really don't care about the size, like if it gets bigeer or not. I'm not interested in it because it's small. I like the face features so if anyone knows of any pictures of full grown Morkies that would help. Thanks.

A morkie is a mix breed between Yorkshire Terrier and the Maltese. I always heard that mix breeds have less problems then full breeds do. If you go to the pound they have all kinds of mixed breeds and they will also tell you that they will have less problems. I will say this though. I would not pay $500 to $800 or more for a mixed breed. If i was you i would go to my local pound. You may even find a morkie there or one that you like better plus you may save ones life. As for teacup that is something that someone made up cause they are so small and of course it makes money and yes small dogs can have problems. All small dogs can have problems. They have more of a chance with certain problems such as heart murmurs and so on. I know someone who owns a morkie and she looks like a teddy bear and i can see why that look makes you like them. She is so cute. I just love her. As far as i know their looks never change and there size is always around 5 pounds.

edit: After i read this it seemed like i was trying to tell you what to do. That is not what i was doing. I was only telling you about the dog and what i would and would not do. I hate the internet sometimes.

a friend wants to sale me a yorki and i want to know what price would i be expected to pay for the regular yorkies or the teacup yorkies

my friend and i were talking about dogs and i mentioned how much i love my dog, daisy (shes a yellow lab(: ) and she says her “micro-mini teacup” yorkie is better. i told her that yorkies are great dogs, but there is no such thing as a micro-mini teacup anything. she keeps saying how her dog is just one pound and that my 60 pound lab doesnt even compare becuase i cant put her ina purse or anything and its not “fashionable. i brushed it off becuase i love my dog no matter what, lol, but NOW she wants another “micro-mini teacup” yorkie/ i told her that shes thousands more for a runt. what do i tell her? i dont want her to buy a sickly runt with an enormous price, even though she was pretty rude to me. lol what do i do?

Ignore her regarding her getting another dog. Education will cost her thousands over time when she has huge vet bills that will go along with having a sickly little runt.
So you don’t tell her anything. She will learn for herself if she goes ahead and buys one. She isn’t listening to you anyway.
You tell her that your dog has legs and can walk anywhere and she will carry her dog in her purse for awhile anyway. Besides your Labrador is more to love.
Don’t get me wrong here, I love regular size Yorkies and my daughter has a few…not micro minies.
