Tiny Teacup Yorkies in Dallas Fort Worth Area?

I have been wanting a teacup yorkie forever and dont know where to find one. If you have any information on where i could get one please let me know?
If your going to be a b**** about it or negative please dont answer this question.
Ok can people calm down about the word teacup. its just a word i didnt say anything about it being a breed. geez get your panties out a bunch.

You can get tiny teacups from your local department store. Not sure if you will find any with pictures of Yorkies on them though.

You couldn’t possibly be talking about a REAL dog, right?
I mean there is no such thing as a "teacup" breed, but you already knew that right?

I am going to be the first to say this but probably not the last: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TEACUP DOGS! They are runts or premature pups with a fancy name.

You go to a fake breeder and give them hundreds of dollars for a fake breed that will cost you thousands of dollars in medical bills to take care of.

Teacups are a money-making scheme. Anyone advertising a teacup dog is just in it for money. It’s an easy way to charge extra money for the runt of the litter. What they don’t tell you is that teacups generally die earlier, are very fragile, have many developmental and respiratory problems because they were usually born prematurely. Even if you find one for a decent price, you will be paying close to (if not more) than $3,000 that first year alone of ownership with the problems that will arise.

Go to the vet’s office and see if one of the people there will give you their ill bread dog that has so many vet problems they don’t want it anymore. That’s what you will be getting with a Tiny teacup anything. All they are is an unhealthy runt that someone slapped a large price tag on and called it a teacup so ignorant people will buy them.

If you want to find a cheap easy to get small breed puppy go out to Canton on the first monday trade days. However I would not recommend buying one, they are ALL from puppy mills and no matter what they say, they can’t guarantee the size. Also they will likely have medical and behavioral issues. If you want to find an even better deal, check out the animal shelters near Canton the week after because some of the people dump the puppies that didn’t sell and are getting too old to be "cute".

As a slightly better option, check petfinder, there are a bunch of yorkies in the area. As an example here is one: http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=15209434

I still would make sure you are financially able to provide for the dog since these little guys can get expensive fast (vet bills)

blah blah blah… people have to say on every single GD post that there’s no such thing as a teacup, whatever! maybe there are runts that people pay a lot of money for. Whatever, thumbs down me. I have a 4 lb yorkie that is as healthy as a horse…

You should try checking out kijiji.com in your area, lots of people sell pups on there. Also try petfinder.com. I found my yorkie pup in the newspaper.

I know of a breeder her website is starlightsyorkies.com

She has tiny ones but if you want a tiny t-cup she prices them at about $4000-$5000.

    Tiny T-cups are 2-3lbs

    T-cups are 3-4lbs

They are very healthy when bred properly, which means they are bred from t-cup lines. They are not runts T-cups are bred to be little.

All those ignorant people who always say their is no such thing you are just so jealous you can’t afford one since they are mostly $2000 and up.

It is just a term that breeders use so people know that a breed (example a toy poodle) will be small not a 10lb dog.

There is no such thing as a teacup dog. NO ONE CAN GUARANTEE ADULT SIZE. You want a small dog? Go adopt an ADULT.

There is no such thing as goddamn T-cup lines. REPUTABLE breeders do not use these crap lables. Anything 7 pounds and under whether its two pounds or 1 or 3 is a NORMAL GODDAMN yorkie. what is so hard about that fact to understand?

But fine go search for a teacup dog. When you end up with a sickly pup or a dog who ends up ABOVE the 7lb standard don’t complain.

4 to 5 grand from some ill bred dog is INSANE. for what you will overpay for a teacup you can get a health well bred pup from a reputable breeder for LESS.

Seriously if you are soooo hung up on the idea of a 3 pound or less*gag* dog go and get an ADULT.
