Im buying a teacup yorkshire terrier for 500 canadian dollars and under Give me a picture of it and you HAVE to be in Vancouver cause im not going really far just to get one.
dude My friend has one its called a teacup its really small.
your friend calls it a teacup because he was lied to. Its just the runt. A regular yorkie only weighs between 4 & 7 lbs. Whats the need to have anything smaller than that?

no such thing as a "Teacup" Yorkie.. these are dogs stunted through poor nutrition or poor breeding…
you can get Yorkies in south Alberta for $400… but these are typically from back yard breeders (not quality)
NEVER NEVER buy from a pet store…
do more research – learn more before you start looking for things that are not real.. teeny dogs – especially those intentionally stunted – live short lifespans.

Have you had verbal conversation with this person.
A teacup cost more than $900 and the regular size yorkies cost atleast $700.
Are you sure this person is a scammer!
Be careful!

Look on petfinder.com. There are tons of cute pups there that need a home. I am sure you can find most of them under $500.

Teacup is a name crappy breeders give their runts to con people like yourself out of money. Dogs this small have serious health problems & don't live long. Get a regular Yorkie , they weigh between 4lb to 7lb. They are a lot healthier & still small.

Be very careful – there are a ton of unscrupulous people out there who can't wait to sell you either a sick dog or a dog that doesn't exist at all. A 'teacup' puppy is a runt and is yet another marketing scam to take advantage of people. Get a health guarantee, in writing, from the breeder. Get recommendations from others who have bought from that breeder. Don't support back yard breeders whose only goal is to make a buck.

There is no such thing as a teacup dog. This is just a name sellers use to get buyers to buy their dogs for higher amounts of money, and often times these dogs are not purebread and they can sometimes be even bigger than the regular size of the purebread that arent called teacup. No reputable breeder would claim their dogs are teacup. If you go to google and search the truth about teacup dogs you will learn. However, if you find a dog you love, and love the way it looks you should buy whatever makes you happy and wont break your wallet!

"Teacup" = runt = bigger price tag = sickly = higher vet bills.
5-7 lb normal Yorkie is too BIG for you?
Jeez- then get a guinea pig. They're about the same size, and they're healthy.
