My friend has a female Teacup Yorkie and I have a Male Jack…I am just curious as to if they could breed…could they?
Keep in mind it is a TEACUP yorkie!! So I don’t know if it would be healthy to do with an average sized jack?
Thanks!
can they? yes
should they? no
With the size difference, chances are very high that the female will run into whelping problems and need a c-section. it’s just not worth the risk.

There’s NO SUCH BREED…no "teacup" anything!
So……you have BYBd junk & YES,if you’re an imbecile & don’t HURRY & SPAY *&* CASTRATE,you could end up w/yet another litter of unwanted mongrel crap!

the puppies would most likely kill the Yorkie. The puppies would get to big inside her.

What is a teacup? They DO NOT exist. Will people STOP trying to make them exist.
Yes the two dogs would biologically be able to breed. But they shouldn’t for gazillions of reasons. Have both spayed, and then you wont have to have this debate

Please don’t breed them. If she is tiny you really shouldn’t even think about breeding from her, you could end up with a tiny b*tch trying to give birth to pups that are too big for her. She would need a c-section or even end up dead.
If you are asking could they actually have sex, then yes, technically they could. But if you love your dog please don’t. And get her spayed asap.
Im sure you were only asking a question, sorry if I sounded like I was preaching. I recently lost a dearly loved little yorkie. Sorry and good luck x

I don’t want to be mean but if you really care about her. DON’t DO IT.

No because you would be breeding one unhealthy MUTT to a purebred, thus producing another unhealthy mutt.
Your "teacup" Yorkie will die if it becomes pregnant because of its mutated breeding and its sheer size.
I’m sorry that you got ripped off thinking you were buying an actual breed of dog, but teacup dogs aren’t a real breed.

THERE’S NOSUCH THING A A TEA CUP YORKIE
could they – yes
should they – NO
get both dogs fixed as here are loads of mutts in shelters waiting for home and thousand are put down every year.

Why would you want to do this?
Keep the breeds in the breeds. We have enough unwanted or poor bred dogs as it is. Would you mix your 1st cousin with your Uncle come one. I do not believe that people should misbreed.
Leave it to people who know what they are doing please. You do not know what either of these dogs have as far as medical backgrounds they are not fit to be bred with another breed anyway

She shouldn’t even be bred with a small yorkie.
Good breeders often have medical emergencies that extend the most vigilant care to their animals. You risk losing the female. It is dangerous, unethical and ignorant for starters.
What are you thinking-NOT!

There is NO such thing as a TEACUP any kind of a dog. What your friend has is a poorly bred runt that was probably obtained from an unreputable BYB or puppy mill. Why would you want to be responsible for more unwanted mutts being brought into this world when 2 million dogs are euthanized in shelters, in the U.S., each year. Since you are not adults and don’t have jobs, you cannot afford to breed. What do your parents think about this? These small breeds of dogs tend to need c-sections, which cost upwards of $1500.00. Do the dogs have their breed championships? Have they had all health and genetic testing done? The bitch will need regular exams during her pregnancy and will need at least one ultrasound done to determine the amount of pups to expect. After the pups are born, within 48 hours, the bitch and the pups will need to be seen by the vet to have dewclaws removed and for a checkup. When the pups reach 6 weeks old, they will again need to be seen by the vet for worming and the start of their vaccinations. Can your FRIEND afford all of this?

Yes, but don’t let them under any circumstances! No such thing as a Teacup anything either. If she is really small she will not be big enough to carry any puppies let alone the Jack Russel’s get. Why you would want to breed these two together defies any consideration to the Yorkie’s health and well being.
She will surely die trying to deliver or certainly need a very expensive C-section.
No one would want these puppies if they did survive anyway, think about it.

There are just WAY to many things wrong with this question.
Just get them fixed!!

Yeah they could but don’t even try it

Any two dogs *can* breed and conceive a litter, however that doesn’t mean that they *should* be bred. Essentially, you would be producing a litter of mutts. What, exactly would be your purpose of breeding them?
And, just as FYI, there is no such thing as a ‘teacup’ Yorkie. The term is actually taboo amongst Yorkie enthusiasts and using it suggest little knowledge on the breed itself. (All the more reason NOT to breed the dog.) Generally speaking, small Yorkies under 5 lbs should not be bred.
I would suggest the two of you get a hobby and abandon this horrible idea before you end up getting your dogs hurt and risking their lives.
