I like small dogs, specifically teacup. I was just wondering where I could get one and how much would one cost. And is it a healthy enough dog to get?
A yorkie will run you anywhere from $750 and up…depending how good a specimen of the breed you buy. If you want to avoid problems and get a healthy one, buy from a true breeder…not a pet store or a back yard breeder. A legit breeder has testing done on the dogs to rule out genetic disorders that are problems in the breed. If the breeder is also a "show" home, you will pay on the higher end of the scale. the price depends on if it is pure breed and also they are very healthy but they attach to one person they are good long term companions my grandmother had yorkies her whole life

I have two yorkies now and have always had yorkies.
Yorkshires AKC registered range from $400-$600 dollars. They do get bigger than the "teacup size". Most Yorkies need a lot of attention, but are very loving dogs. They are usually high-strung and really not good with children. Make sure you find a reliable breeder and insist on seeing both mother and father.
