There is no such thing as a teacup anything. It is a runt with a fancy name to get you to pay more. They are usually sickly and do not live long.

also even if there was a “teacup yorkie”, yorkies are pretty small anyways, why do want them to be smaller?

if they are teacup size at 2 years, they stay that size.
ask to see the parents of the terrier to see how big the dog will get.

It may not stay as small as a puppy but it will usually be smaller than normal toy dogs.
I am not even going to go into the teacup thing tonight.

I saw on TV the other night 2 tiny teacup yorkies, one weighed a pound and the other even less. If I bred them together, would I get an even smaller one?? If I bred one to a mouse, could it be smaller still?? Could I breed it with a cockroach and get an even tinier one??
Idiot.

The “Teacup …” is just a made up sort of thing, and I mean Teacup (place dog name here!)s are non-existent! Trust me, I tried to find a Teacup Pomeranian…I had no luck at all. But there are some Teacup dogs, I believe, but the don’t live for very long.

them small little runts come with health problems they are called pocket or teacup because it came from the idea that you can carry them around in your pocket, but the truth of the matter is that people carry them around in their pockets, because they have to not because they want to,so that way they carry their pets into stores restaurants etc.. without being noticed. in other words 99% of the time they get what is known as low blood sugar their sugar level drops where they seem to go into a comatose state and sometimes accompanied by seizures which the owner needs to carry around a few packs of honey to give to the dog immedialty so he can come out of it,if it is not given in a timely manner the pup will die.

True, like everyone says, there isn’t a teacup anything.
It’s just a name. But I understand, that doesn’t really tick me off or anything, but it IS the truth.
And I think theyd most likely stay small. They’d probably grow, but it wont grow to THAT big.
