Put the initials of the state where you live, and you'll find a yorkie up for adoption near you.

Check your local shelter… There are no teacup breeds.. There are no cheap dogs, in the end, they cost you much more… Buy a cheap dog and you spend more at the vet..

no such thing as teacup its a ripoff
its either sick or being sold for way more then needed

You don't.
There is no such thing as a "teacup Yorkshire Terrier", just poorly-bred runts that people market as "teacup" so that folks who are too dumb to know the difference will shell out money for poorly-bred runts.
Any money you save on a "cheap" "teacup yorkie" will be lost in the medical bills you will likely have to pay because you bought a poorly-bred, sickly runt.

I'm sorry, but I agree with the other posters, plus- when you start selecting for a single trait – like size – you may get the size, but the aspects of breeding for a healthy animal go by the wayside. "Cheap" does not include reputable, responsible breeders, which is a must when looking for a pedigreed animal, even as a pet- unless you want some sickly, genetically challenged animal that will either break your heart, cost you a lot of money in vet bills, or both.
Please do consider a shelter- you can pick anything from a puppy to an older dog (which especially need homes) and choose a small one if you want. Personally, I have never seen much point to getting a registered animal, unless you are very familiar with the breed. Pedigree does not necessarily a guarantee a good pet.
BTW, for instance- the miniature Pomeranian can't jump off a couch without shattering bones, a good example of breeding for size alone.

have owned both pedigreed and non-pedigreed dogs over the years
