I believe they can. If the dogs dont have something that stops them from having babies, yes they can.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A "TEACUP" BREED OF ANYTHING!

You are OBVIOUSLY just wanting a "brand name" dog because you didn't even to any research on the so called breed your purchased. How sad are you!

FIrst, theres no such thing as 'teacup" of anything! Its a farce! It's what back yard breeders draw in fools that don't know the breed and sell them for outrageous costs. Yorkies come in one size, no more then 7 pounds. People like smaller designer dogs so what do they do, many bybs breed the smallest they can get to the smallest they got.

It's just a description of a dog, its not a breed, its not recognized as a variety. It's just an undersize yorkie with probable health causes.

But yes, these " teacups" can have babies, thats why people want to buy them so they can make more of this "teacup" size to sell to foolish, naive people.

My advice, don't fall for any " teacup" breed cuz its not! Its undersize and undesirable. Do you see responsible, reputable breeders advertising teacups? NO.

I have a yorkie so i know my stuff.

But yes to your question, they can make babies, it takes 2 though ;)

It's possible… but, a "teacup" is just a word for runt, and they can sometimes have health issues… I would recommend spaying her as you cannot be certain a pregnancy would be safe for her.

A "teacup" dog is the last thing to be breeding. What makes it smaller is several generations of careless missbreeding. It may be small and cute, but it have many MANY health problems all tucked away in there. It obviously can reproduce, but you will be very iresponsible to do that. Enough HEALTHY dogs have to die in shelters, why breed unhealthy ones at all?

Oh good, I was getting dry there….sip..sip…gulp!

Sorry, teacups have to be made using molds, most of the time. There are rare and expensive teacups that are made by hand, but the more affordable variety are made using molds. Hope this helps!

Well the obvious answer would be if you have a yorkie "teacup" the obviously they can or otherwise you would not have one….as far as if there is such a thing, I have no idea

Any two animals with the same chromosomes (DNA) can mate. Their success rate depends on their a number of things. Health can be one of them. In dogs, size can play a role in successful birth as well. A large male could cause complications for a smaller female.
An example of two different animals breed together to make a hybrid like your puppy would be the mule. a mule is the offspring of a male donkey and a female horse

interesting about the mule— (can be noted in dealing with hybrids)

MULE
F1 hybrid. The reverse, the offspring of a male horse and a female donkey, is called a hinny. The term "mule" (Latin mulus) was formerly applied to the infertile offspring of any two creatures of different species. The mule, easier to breed[citation needed] and usually larger in size than a hinny, has monopolized the attention of breeders[citation needed]. The chromosome match-up more often occurs when the jack (male donkey) is the sire and the mare (female horse) is the dam. Sometimes people let a stallion (male horse) run with a jenny (female donkey) for as long as six years before she becomes pregnant. Mules and hinnies are almost always sterile (see fertile mules below for rare cases). The sterility is attributed to the differing number of chromosomes of the two species: donkeys have 62 chromosomes, whereas horses have 64.

A female mule, called a "molly", that has estrus cycles and can carry a fetus, can occasionally occur naturally as well as through embryo transfer.

Therefore having the same number of chromosomes will greatly increase the chance of having a litter with your puppy. You have a rare, but still possible chance of having puppies with another species in the dog family with a different further number of chromosomes.

Wolves and Dogs are another successful hybrid.
You may be able to have puppies but they may not be able to have puppies. Be sure of all health problems and the backround of several generations on both sides of parents before breeding to ensure the health of your dog and future dogs.

they can, but it would most likey KILL them.

the least a yorkie should weigh to have a healthy litter is 5lbs.
a "teacup" is actually a premature puppy. they have TONS of health problems.

Coffee ANYONE? @ 4:48 am

They can but why would you? Do you want to make a profit off your poochy? Did you know they are runts bred to runts to runts to runts to runts..ect….
to make them small or just a Runt in a litter that didnt grow up like the other puppies and now they are selling it as a teacup.
There are no such thing as teacups in any kennel club.
Check out AKC… none.

Yorkshire Terrier Teacup? You're kidding, right? I have a Yorkie and I am so happy that she is NOT teeny! Any animal lover would not support anyone who breeds these babies for a profit! PLEASE have this little girl spayed as she is too tiny to breed!
