how do i go about finding and buying a Teacup Yorkshire Terrier in san antonio?
looking for a little puppy(yorkie) for a reasonable price.
Instead of buying consider adopting one of these little sweethearts. They are in San Antonio. http://www.petfinder.com/search/search.cgi?pet.Animal=Dog&pet.Breed=yorkie&pet.Age=&pet.Size=S&pet.Sex=&location=san+antonio%2C+tx

There is no such thing as a 'teacup'. They are not recognized as an actual breed size, the smallest breed size recognized is toy. All 'teacup' dogs are are the runts of toy dogs bred together by backyard breeders to create tiny, sickly dogs with a cutesey name tacked on. They are scams, and only backyard breeders breed them.
Please don't support the backyard breeders and mill breeders who produce these poor animals. You will only end up with a short lived, sickly dog that will cost you an absolute fortune in vet bills.

Teacup dogs are sickly runts of runts, bred only by irresponsible dog owners.
Look for a reputable Yorkie breeder by contacting your local breed club. Prices are reasonable as you are not filling the pockets of the breeder, they make no money from doing it they do it for a love of the breed and their want to better it. They also save you a hell of a lot of money in vet bills by health testing the litter's parents.

There is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie. It's a marketing term used by unethical breeders to describe dogs purposely bred to be extremely small. No ethical breeder would breed dogs to be extremely small.
As far as a "reasonable price", that's a very broad statement that doesn't mean the same to one person as it does to the next and it depends on what you are getting. For example, I think $1000 for a well bred, well socialized Yorkie that meets the breed standard is a reasonable price. I think that $1000 for a poor representation of the breed from a shady breeder is overpriced.
Just keep in mind, those who breed in a responsible, ethical manner have costs invested in their programs that they are trying to cover. When considering a breeder, determine what costs they are trying to cover and then decide if the price they are asking seems fair.
