Don't buy teacups. They are a product of poor breeding and are susceptible to a lot of health problems. Plain yorkies are plenty tiny on their own.

Any dog advertised as a teacup is a scam. Yorkshire terriers do not have different sizes, there is just the Yorkie, not teacups or miniatures or whatever other type of kitschie name they call their runts.
Go to the Canadian Kennel Club webpage and check out the resource pages there. Your best source of information is going to come from reputable breeders that are affiliated with the CKC.

first of all there is no such breed.breeders find runts and try to make them have babies usually they have some kind of disorder.The only kind of teacup dogs are a chihuahua
and the teacup poodle and be carefull because somtimes they lie and say they are teacups for more money so go to websites and findout how much there weight is when they are the age to be able to adopt i hope you have luck bye!!!!!!

You need to be aware that 'teacup' dogs aren't breeds. They are the runts of the litter of any breed, which unscrupulous people will breed from to try and pretend they're a new breed.

It's up to you if you want to take on the runt of a litter - someone has to - but you need to be aware that it's highly likely to suffer ongoing health problems and you should NOT be paying full breed price for a dog like this. Real breeders will keep runts and look after them themselves, not call them 'teacups' and try to make money from them.

You don't want a "teacup" they don't exist, and are just cover up names for sickly runts of the litter.
Please save your money and adopt instead, there are plenty of healthy toy breeds.
