Cheap Toy Yorkie?????
Where can I purchase a cheap toy yorkie in Southern California?
Where can I get a new Mercedes Benz cheap? They probably sell them both in the same spot…NOWHERE!
Sorry, but the reality is, Yorkies are not cheap because breeding ethically is not cheap. There are so many costs that a breeder invests into their breeding programs–stock, vet bills, health screenings, supplies and if they show, geez! They have to cover their costs as much as possible by charging for the pups that they don't implement into breeding.
If your funds are limited, your best bet is going to be to check with a shelter or breed specific rescue organization. You may also want to contact some breeders in your area–it may be that they are planning to retire a dog from their breeding stock and will help you out.
Other than that, you are likely going to have to bite the bullet and save your funds just like everyone else does. In the meantime, research the breed. Educating yourself on Yorkies as much as possible will help you identify quality dogs and breeders and help you in the long run.
(BTW, there is no such thing as a "toy" Yorkie…or mini, or teacup.)
