Not sure how to register Tiny Toy Yorkie.?
I have a Tiny Toy yorkie and he is AKC. He is not registered yet and is almost a year old. Can i still register him? how would i go about doing it? i can get his parents info if i need that. i would really like to start breeding him what do i need to do that?
With AKC Yorkies are only named Yorkshire Terriers on paperwork ,and the person that sold you this pup should have given you an AKC application for your pup with Sire and Dam,date of birth and AKC litter # on it where you could name the pup and have it registered in your name. You can't register this pup with AKC without the application and there" IS" such a thing as a tiny toy Yorkie,as I have two,but they aren't listed as a tiny toy only Yorkshire Terrier.

Ugh.
There is no such thing as a "Tiny Toy Yorkie" - what you have is an undersized runt that some greedy scumsucking bottomfeeder slapped a cutesy name on and probably charged you an arm and a leg for.
Congratulations, you got scammed.
If he is AKC, then he is a Yorkshire Terrier (even more proof that "AKC Registered" is no guarantee of health, temperament, or responsible breeding).
Get your dog neutered. He's too young to breed in the first place, and he's not a healthy enough specimen to pass on his genetics.
Enjoy him as a pet, not as a source of income.

No such thing. Yorkshire Terriers come in one size.

If he were akc he would already be registered. The breeder should have given you his papers.
Do not breed your dog. Get him fixed. Your dog is not breeding quality unless he has registration in the akc and several champion titles. Obviously this is not the case. Neuter him so he can live a long happy life as your pet.

There is no such breed as a Toy Yorkie. The BREEDER has to register the litter first and then give you the individual registration application for your pup. When it comes to you breeding…..just forget it since you don't even know that there is NO such breed as a Toy Yorkie. Only a Yorkshire Terrier is registerable with the AKC.

Actually, no he's not AKC if he is not up to standard, I don't think.
Please don't breed him; Yorkies come in one size and that size is not Tiny Toy. He is too small. Please neuter him. And. Don't ever buy a Tiny Toy or Teacup again.

PUKE, GAG! There is NO such thing as a Tiny Toy Yorkie. They are Yorkshire Terriers, period, end of discussion. You should have received the paperwork, to register your dog, when you got the pup. Highly unlikely that he's AKC registrable. Did the breeder even register the litter? They had to own the bitch at the time of whelping. It should have been a red flag when you didn't get the appropriate paperwork when you bought the pup.
Oh please, do not breed your dog. Most likely his parents haven't had all of their health and genetic testing done. Your dog cannot have this testing done until he's two years old.
Sorry, but why would you want to bring more unwanted dogs into this world when millions are being euthanized in shelters?
You know absolutely nothing about breeding. What makes you think that someone would even breed to your dog. An owner of a good quality dog certainly isn't going to.
Get your dog neutered and quit thinking of him as an ATM machine.

if he's AKC, how is he not registered?
hm?
another back yard breeder/puppy mill ploy to get sales for their crap.
and "tiny toy"? where'd you get it, the stuffed animal section of Walmart?
don't breed your crap dog.
it's tiny and will result in smaller dogs as offspring.
not ONLY do we have ENOUGH dogs in shelters — and you don't need to add more.
but we ALSO don't need you producing "tiny toy" pieces of crap that are chocked full of HEALTH PROBLEMS because of their crap breeding.
get your dog fixed.
ETA:
Help — what you have is two pieces of junk from junk breeders. They AREN'T tiny toy Yorkies. they're poorly bred crap from crap breeders who don't give a sh*te about dogs, and only have them as sources of income.
Next time, do some research before trying to talk about non-existent crap.

You clearly have no business breeding anything. All YORKSHIRE TERRIERS, not "yorkies" are toys, so why even state that. And if he's tiny he especially has no business breeding. He's clearly not AKC or you would have got the papers when you purchased him. You ma'am have some sickly BYB pup that should be neutered. Please educate yourself by using google instead of asking people on a forum about how to breed your sickly puppy mill runt that you got from some scumbucket, that shouldn't even be studded.

Breeder in Mississippi
First off, you do not have a "tiny toy" Yorkie. There are Yorkies…period. The breed as a whole is classified as belonging to the toy group. (As opposed to the hearding group, working group, etc) There are no subcategories for the breed based on size.
Secondly, if he is registerable, meaning that his parents were both AKC reg (WITH breeding rights), then the breeder you got him from will have to give you his registration papers in order for you to register him. You cannot register him on your own even if you do have the parents' info. The breeder has to register the litter.
In addition, the breeder would have to give you papers with full rights in order for you to be able to breed him. You will be hard pressed to find any REPUTABLE breeder who will be willing to grant you that right…most place dogs with limited registration (meaning that you cannot register any litter produced by the dog) and sell on a spay/neuter agreement.
Your best bet is going to be to contact the breeder, discuss your desires with him/her and then go from there. Also, go ahead and get yourself a breeding mentor…you will have to have one of those FIRST to teach you the ins and outs of breeding before you get started. Also, you will need to have your male tested and evaluated FIRST to even determine if he is of a quality that SHOULD be bred.
