Yorkies come in ONE size, so anyone selling mini or teacups is NOT a responsible breeder.

You won’t find a responsible breeder who sells toy- sized yorkies. You might find a BYB who sells them but they will have health problems because they are runts.

Toy sized Yorkie? The Yorkie is a toy breed, so they all are toy sized. Check on the AKC website, they should have breeders listed.

"GOOD" breeders do not sell "toy" Yorkies. That is just a marketing term to get unsuspecting buyers to part with more money for poorly-bred animals.
The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America has a list of member breeders

Check out the entire site for lots of good information on the breed.

You need to get MORE serious before you get one by studying up on the breed.
There is NO SUCH THING as a TOY Yorkie. There is a Yorkshire Terrier, just one size, ranging from 3-7 pounds.
Study and Learn BEFORE you get a dog, and then only from a reputable breeder.

Try the Humane Society’s website; there are many dogs available from recent puppy-mill seizes and they would make a fine animal to have.

A minor cannot buy/adopt a dog, so quit wasting our time. A YORKIE comes in ONE size only.

There’s no such thing as a "toy-sized".. Yorkies come in ONE size only and they are already small dogs. There’s no "toys" "minis" "teacups" or any other such sizes.
Anyone calling them by these size names is not a good breeder.
To find a good breeder of yorkies, the breed club can refer you to a reputable breeder..

I would suggest that you visit the site of the parent breed club (ytca.org) for a breeder referral. Or, you could attend a local dog show and meet some breeders there.

Make sure to contact a lot of breeders and ask them a lot of questions about their breeding program. Get references from others that have bought dogs from them in the past. Contact those people to find out how well their experience went.
I saw several yorkie breeders on this web page: http://www.pets4you.com/york.html
