my toy poodle and yorkshire terrier, billy and ben?
I want to thank everybody who wrote to me about my two little dogs,. my poodle who died in the garden and my yorkie that had been ill also, the vet put himto sleep last mon. she said he had kidneys probs and she thought he could have had cancer. it broke my heart, and ive never cried so much in my life. how i loved them both, i lost two little dogs in nine days. what a shock. both have been my life for so long, now my house is so empty, no toys about, checking there water bowls, etc, getting up on a morning to no wagging tails. but i have them both now together burried on the garden. i never thought you could love a pet so much. but at least i no both was loved and happy. but to loose both in 9 days hurt so much. ben the yorkie was ill and just wanted cuddles and he was missing billy so much. and he was so sad. now both are together again. so thank you all for your kind words…
debbie
I am sorry to hear of your loss. You know it could have been from the food they were eating. Kidney failure was one of the main signs of the food poisoning.

Sorry about your loss, I do hope that you will oneday find another pet to love as much not to replace the ones you lost just to share the love that i know you still have.

~*~*hugs~*~*~ words are hard to find to help you thru this. The pat answers that "they are out of pain", etc. make little difference to the hole in your heart. Make sure you allow yourself to grieve, cry, scream, whatever helps, but especially to cry. You will never forget them, but eventurally the sharp hurt does dull a bit. Many will tell you to get another dog asap. I would like you to give yourself time to grieve, time to come to the realization that there isn't another dog like either of the ones you had, but that there are others that will be wonderful pets, too. This takes time. To often we rush out to get a pet to fill the emptiness left behind by the pets that are gone, only to find that they are not what we wanted, then we have the difficult task of finding a home for it or keeping it and not being happy with it. Not fair to you or the animal…. Take your time to grieve, my friend, take care of you, then begin to look for another pet companion, if that is your desire. ~*~hugs~*~
