Toy Poodle vs. Maltese vs. Yorkshire Terrier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Which dog is the smartest of these?
Which of these barks least?
Which is your personal faovrite of these 3 and WHY?????

I think those are all great dogs.

I've actually owned a toy poodle and a yorkie. My yorkie was adopted as a senior from a shelter and he was much smarter than my toy poodle. Poodles are supposed to be the #2 smartest dog (smarter than German Shepherds)… but my little guy really isn't the brightest. He is very small though– only 5 pounds.

The yorkie was easier to train. He learned lots of tricks, too, even though he was a senior.

But I had a friend who got a yorkie from a disreputable breeder (I think it was a pet store actually) and her yorkie was dumb as a box of rocks.

As far as maltese, I have never owned one, but there was a very gorgeous maltese in my small dog obedience class. She was quite smart. (I would say smarter than my toy poodle.)

I think a lot depends on the individual dog.

Good luck though. I really have enjoyed owning these small dogs. My favorite would be the yorkie.

As far as which barks the least, my yorkie barked less than my toy poodle, but yorkies in general are known to be yappy. My dog didn't bark that much though.

None of them
I DONT like people who use cute dogs as a toy to showoff.

Smartest? Poodle, by FAR.

Barks least? Largely a matter of training, but the Poodle is at least trainable.

Personal favorite? None, but if one were shoved down my throat and I was forced to keep it, it would be the Poodle.
