Does anyone cut their dogs hair themselves?
my dog is a yorkie mix with a shih tzu These groomer bills are killing me! I spend more on his hair than I do on my own please help i made an appoiment for tomorrow but idk if to take it or not i was thinking of buying a regular hair cutting machine but i dont know…help asap!
Hey , i've also found the groomers to be expensive and simply can't afford it anymore. so i opted to cut my dogs own hair with a pair of hair cutting scissors (he is a maltese) it took me like 2 hours +.i have shaved his hair once but that didnt realy flatter him.
Then i called an independent dog groomer, the ones who have thos little attachments ot their cars and they come to your house. It cost me about $35 which is about a $20-25 saving. And they dont drug your dog!
I highly reccomend these services, the look them up on true local or hit the directory.

My mom cuts my dog's hair before. It looked ugly but that's alright. You should use one of those fur vacuums that cuts the hair too. it's faster and you don't have to clean up the fur.

yes i do, shave my big german shepard every summer. it doesnt come out looking beautiful but hey! haha, take some lessons
