help with my Yorkies hair?
I have a yorkie that needs a hair cut bad but i cant afford to get him groomed just yet. i also figured it wouldnt be bad idea to get him a short cut since its about summer time and he loves outside. can i do this myself and if so how?
We shaved all of our dogs this weekend (including our Yorkies which look so cute with there hair cut by the way) You need a good pair of clippers, the wal mart cheap ones, don't work our were $167 and they work great!!

you need a good pair of clippers and blades.. which will cost you just as much (if not more) than a trip to the groomers.

I wouldn't recomend it just keep the dogs hair brushed so it won't get tangled and þake it to the groomer when you can

its simple, go to walmart and buy a set of clippers, some come with a video on how to cut the dogs hair. after you try it once you will see how easy it is. not to mention the money you will save. I have been clipping my three schnauzers for over 10 yrs now and veery time it gets easier and quicker…good luck
