but like obviously it would look older. or do only the silky yorkies hair grow like tht? because i realy want a yorkie but i dont like how it looks when the hair is long…

Yes, we have a Yorkie and we keep his hair short. What you want is called a "Puppy Cut," so take him to a GOOD groomer, who really knows what they’re doing, and ask for a Puppy Cut and that’s what you’ll get.

Yes, we have a Yorkie and we keep his hair short. What you want is called a "Puppy Cut," so take him to a GOOD groomer, who really knows what they’re doing, and ask for a Puppy Cut and that’s what you’ll get.

yup, after about a year your yorkies hair will grow long like that. if you don’t want it long and you want it like the 2nd pic, just tell the groomer to give your pet a puppy cut. a long coat is a lot to keep up with so a lot of people with yorkies like to keep the hair cut short
