Yorkie Lion Cut,Grooming Tomorrow,Cant Find Photo?

My yourkshire terrier is getting a hair cut tomorrow. But I cant find a right picture (I WILL NOT RISK THE GROOMER DOING SOMETHING WRONG AGAIN!!!)
could you please give me links to a few kinds of a lion cut?

-mainly short hair
-bald ears
-medium lenght around head
-underbelly hair left

thank you

I have never seen a yorkie with a lion cut.

They don’t have the hair for that type of cut.

I think you may need to research what you want a bit more.

If you get a good groomer you can show and tell them exactly what you want…it’s their job to make you happy.

I haven’t seen a lioncut where the ears are bald but here’s a lion cut on a small dog: http://mfrost.typepad.com/cute_overload/images/2008/12/07/yow.jpg

If you explain what you want, the groomer should be able to do it. I’m not sure why you want to give your yorkie a lion cut, but I suppose that’s your choice.

Here is the link to a proper lion clip as done on the Little Lion Dog, the Lowchen! It’s a CGI image I think but you can look up tons of pictures in seconds on Google Images. The front legs are shaved down to the ankles as the back legs are but you can’t see it because all the fur from the head to the tuck is left natural and long and combed neatly. Two thirds of the tail is shaved and a plume is left on the end. Their feet are also shaved but you can’t tell because they’re covered by the "anklets" of fur on this puppy’s ankles.

Sounds like you want a westie clip on the yorkie. The body is short (we use a #5 blade) and the belly coat and legs are longer (similar to a mini schnauzer). The head is shaped like a westie’s head. Short but round. The legs can be trimmed a little, a lot or left. Is that what you mean??
