You should take her to the groomer’s.
You shouldn’t cut your dog’s hair if you haven’t been taught to properly groom a dog.

Take your dog to a professional groomer.
Do not attempt to do this at home.

a yorkie cut is done by hand scissoring…
short body ( optional skirt )
yorkie face which is hand scissored
my suggestion, take him to a professional groomer before you make a mockery of him/her in public lol

That’s a cute hairstyle for a yorkie! But you should definately take your pet to the groomer, and not do this at home.

Go get clippers, they are about $12 @ walmart, go to the human section to save a few $$.
Shave the abdomen, contour of the sex, the crotch and around the anus is necessary- use blade number 10. Use the electric trimmer on a third distal of the ears (inner and outer), and then with a lot of precaution over the top part of the muzzle from the nose to the eyes. If the dog seems nervous about this process hold him firmly by the hair on his beard and talk to him to calm him down. Use the electric trimmer blade 4, 5, or 7 over the head by following the direction of the hair starting slightly from behind the eyebrows until the back of the neck and slightly on the sides, however don’t go down to the temples. Shave the chin all the way to the throat. Cut the hair on the chest and the trunk until the beginning of the tail as well as the sides and under always respecting the directionthe hair grows and do this to the legs, stomach, bottom, and chest.
Shave the lower part of the paws and then trim the dog’s nails. Pull out the hair from inside the dog’s ears. Untangle all the knots or mats meticulously especially on the head. Bathe the dog and dry with a hair dryer on low. Cut the ears into a point shape with the straight scissors. Then use the teasel all over the dog’s body in the direction of the hair. Hold on to legs one by one and extend them. Brush the hair towards the sides (first the interior, then the exterior, front and then back) and even out the locks of hair by following in lines. Cut around the contour of the paw well rounded with the curved scissors without eliminating hair from the top of the paw. Brush the eyebrows forward and cut them with the curved scissors following the natural arch of the head. Brush the hair on the cheeks forward and marc and arch from the base of the ear until the angle of the nose. Brush the sides of the heads outwards and cut them by giving them a rounded shape. All together this should look somewhat like a compact ball. Brush the hair on the chin downwards and even them out.

I have taken my yorkie to several groomers and they all dont listen. You tell them you dont want them to cut the tear ducts or her top knot. What do they do? cut it anyways. then you tell them you want her hair short. What do they do barely cut anything off and chop her hair up. It looks aweful. So Im taking this on myself. My philisophy <— however you spell it. Is if you want something done a certain way do it yourself. Your never gonna learn if you dont try. Dogs hair does grow back. But my suggestion would watch some how to videos there is plenty of them out there on the web. Go to yorkie websites and learn from there. Not all groomers know what they are doing and you cant sit there and watch them groom your dog so you have no way of correcting them right there on the spot. So learn how to do it yourself. But be extremely careful with the clippers because yorkies do have sensitive areas where the skin is ver very thin. Thats just my suggestion. Im not an expert thou.
