My mom is letting me get a yorkie but i hate there long hair.Is it possible for me to give he yorkies a haircut?Is there haircuts i can choose from?
But the reason i am getting a yorkie is because i have allergies and there small and easy to train little dogs
I wouldn’t tell you to give them a haircut yourself. Take your dog to the groomers. Not expensive and they have a book there to help you choose and they’re experts so they know how a dog should look and how it would be most comfortable. But keep in mind that it’s getting cold and your yorkie is going to be cold so unless you’re going to buy him/her a sweater, keep his/her hair long.

why dont you get a different dog then. or yes u can cut a dos hair but its best to get a proper plase to do it if you want it to look nice, take him to a dog pamper.

well you can keep cutting the hair short but then it will cost your alot with every cutt because you will probaly have to cut it each month which adds up

I agree with the first answer. If you don’t want a long hair dog, do not get a yorkie. They have very long hair that needs to be groomed regularly. If you aren’t willing to put in that kind of care then do not get one. If you are unwilling to do any kind of grooming, then a dog is not the pet for you. You can always do a mix. Chihuahuas don’t need much grooming if you want a small, easily maintainable dog.
