ok the most important thing to watch for is the top line (hairline) if it’s dark most likely he’ll stay dark. Send some pictures or make a video I’d love to see him.

Mr.Freckels is solid black ,but my other yorkie isn’t.Some stay dark and usually you can tell or a good breeder would know by 3 month old.
