   The Yorkie club of America is an excellent source for reputable breeders
   Stay clear of backyard breeders and pet shops. The La breeders are listed below from their site.
   They also offer valuable information for toy breeds and on the yorkie breed

   Please consider that there are many, many back yard breeders who are taking advantage of poeple who want Yorkies. These dogs are prone to many genetic problems and BYB's don't check for these – they don't care about sick dogs, they just want your $.
