i preferably want a little yorkie or a maltese/yorkie mix and it being a puppy or young. no preference on the sex. does anyone know where i can these from in the UK? or if anyones selling any or putting some up for adoption any, please let me know!! thanks x

Nope.. I don't.. I wouldn't sell puppies to someone who was looking on YA for a dog … but you could check your local shelter.. They have a dog or two looking for homes likely.

Your best bet would be a rescue organization (for the Maltese/Yorkie mix, although yes they do get purebreds in as well) which always have great dogs needing homes, or a REPUTABLE breeder belonging to a breed club. To avoid puppy mills/farms and backyard breeders, avoid classified ads, especially if they advertise "rare" colours, no information with regards to genetic health problem screening, breed "teacups" and have multiple breeds. Never, ever buy from a pet store unless the store adopts out from rescue organizations, rather than sells.

do NOT get one from a pet store most the dogs there are from a puppy mill were they live in dirty small crampt cages and are not treated well
