I want to know why the pet ads are all scams.?

I want to know why Yahoo is letting people with bogus ads run them in their classified section. I looked up Yorkie puppies for sale just within the California area, and all 10 responses were not from owners in California, but had supposedly moved to Africa and that is where the dog is now. But the adoption fee was only the cost of shipping. I asked for pictures and got stolen copies of someone else's dog (you can tell from the tiny size of the pictures they sent). I asked for current pictures and got just email replies from some that asked what I was accusing them of, being they are "honest going church folks", one was even supposed to be a pastor.
I just don't get it, how is anyone supposed to trust selling or buying through yahoo anymore with these African scam artists all over! Oh and just in case you are wondering, yes all those ads are now gone, not because yahoo deleted them either. I want to know what is yahoo going to do? Is there an honest place to buy pets from anymore?

The best place to get pets honestly is in person… go to the humane society or look up rescue groups in your area.

The anonymity of the internet makes it the perfect place for scams, as you have found out. Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything that can be done about it, you just have to be careful of everything on the internet.
